So how were your weekends? As for me the details are as follows:

Friday Night: I was gonna stay at home, but then I decided that I'd go an watch Jay-J with Latrice. Boy, did I make the right decision. Jay-J was in top form, and Latrice, who I had never seen before put on a great live act. Around 01:15, I decided to go to Red C Lounge to watch the Siesta boys who rarely are a disappointment.

By the way, if anyone is going to be in SoCal this coming Wednesday, Jamie Lewis from Purple Music will be at Bar Dynamite in SD.

Saturday: Did some packing for my upcoming move. Watched King Kong in the evening.

Sunday: Did some more packing. Now I am typing this message.

Fri: Went to Optimo @ Snafu. Great night and great music. Was not liking the smoking ban though, alot of folk sneaking off to the toilets for a sly one:lol: :p

Sat:Into town shopping during the day feeling very very rough! At night, went to a mates surprise party for his 21st. All left his about 11ish then headed into town to meet up with my better half and other mates. Really good night, saw wheaps of folk I hadnt seen in ages to:p :p

Sun: Felt like death (again!) Spent the day with Katie and just chilled on the sofa.

Great weekend, hating it being Sunday night though:evil:

Fri: Stayed in, drank a little too much.

Sat: Work, haircut/shopping, dropped by a friends with birthday card/gift, stayed in again - some friends called round for drinks. Nothing too mad, everyone was tired.

Sun: Had an extremely productive day - bought a superb black granite sink for the kitchen, a nice bathroom sink and mirror and some other home stuff. Nearly bought a gorgeous modern style crystal chandalier for the landing but need to have a think - it's very expensive and we already like the fitting we already have. Hmmmm. Rambling ..... did a quick stint in gym and the usual food shop. Came home and watched SAW II - loved the first one, but II is better!

Friday: dinner with a friend, then drinks at the odd 52 where I met some Pep's friends and I was kidnaped by them and dragged to La paloma. Cool night, too packed but the place was rocking as the old days
Saturday: met MyMind and his bf for a yummy paella by the sea. Siesta in the sofa and then Barça - Madrid 8O :? 8O
Sunday: went to see Pep playing basketball, had lunch in Arenys' port and then spent the rest of the day in the sofa

Friday: Carbed up on pasta and early to bed.

Sat: Too excited about the afternoon's cup final so was awake at sic pacing round the house. Dropped the current Mrs B to Liverpool Street for her trip top Holland via Harwich and noted again that Russ' outlet there wasn't open. You're not working them hard enough Russ!:p It was only 7.45am I suppose.

Cup final - won 3-1 but battled so hard with the oppo's barrel chested, all privelege and no manners, 6ft 4 centre midefielder that I was physically incapable of going out on Saturday night. My whole body is covered in bruises from his elbows and my legs from ankle to knee are a mess of stud marks.

Sunday - local beers with local mates.

 at Buckley's best imitation of Keano... get that ankle x-rayed

Friday - Very wet lunch followed by afternoon wine consumption in office meant I got home from work already a bit tipsy. Later on, Club XIII for Studio 54 night with the legendary Bert Bevans in attendance. Unforunately, Bert didn't get started by 2:30 when I decided it was time to head over to new club Dyagilev Project for David Guetta :D

Guetta was in fine form, though it's obvious he was told to play some hits in order to avoid the fate of David Morales at the club's opening 3 weeks ago (escorted from the building by security after 45 minutes 8O). He did it smartly though - throwing some a capellas over killer beats and digging out alternative mixes. Good set. Dyagilev's design is gorgeous but the club is obviously meant to be a see-and-be-seen destination, not for serious clubbers.

Saturday - Sports bar in the afternoon for some football then back home to convalesce as I had a raging headache from the previous night's excesses. That cleared up at midnight (right on cue?) so back to Club XIII for a party hosted by the UK magazine Dazed & Confused in connection with Russian Fashion Week. Lots of trendy folks around and Bert Bevans, who apparently stuck around for the weekend, played a guest set for about an hour :D Once again left at 2:30 to head back to Dyagilev for Seamus Haji. :D I'd wanted to see him play for a while and missed his appearance here at club Slava in February (wish I hadn't, as that club is a much more suitable venue). I was impressed though admittedly a bit far gone to be a great judge.

Sunday - Grocery shopping, made a big pot of beef stew :D , worked on editing my home video from New Years

A fab weekend for us :D

Friday: Had dinner and vegged infront of the sofa, early to bed :D

Saturday: Up early and then went into Birmingham to do some shopping, bought this months must have - the dirty pervert flasher mac . Joey got his hair cut and looks younger again :D

Went home and both got into bed and had a lovely little nap before getting up to make some dinner and heading down to London for pre-drinks at friends flat in Bloomsbury. Caught up with all the gossip from Stoney about Miami and bitched while the others boringly watched the hightlights from Arsenal v Villa match. Headed onto Cross for 12.30am and got into the groove. I dont know what it is about this place that i love so much, perhaps its the fact that London clubbing has no attitude at all and thats why i love it so much, its such a refreshing change. I love the fact that it was so busy in there too, its adds to the atmousphere. They had messed up the set times so Stoney was on from 1.30am - 3.30. We left and went back to the flat for a lovely cup of yorkshire tea before heading home.

Sunday: Got home at 6.30am and got into bed. Got woken up by builders at 9.30am until midday. Decided to then get up :spank:

Day was split in-between sleeping, chilling and making a lovely lamb roast for us to feast upon.

Poor Joey had to get up at 4am this morning to drive back down south to Kent for work, poor little mite :(

An excellent Weekend :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Fri - few drinks in Camden with old work friends. One suprising point to the night was a girl I'd not seen in about a year and a half, who always used to be very anti-everything, and used to berate me for going out clubbing and everything that went with it... is now a massive junkie who loves getting on it every weekend! How some people change! 8O

Sat - nice relaxing morning, I'd forgotten how nice it is to wake up after a good nights sleep :) Cleaned my car, put things on Ebay, then had my hair highlighted. Drove over to Jon's in the evening (he was suffering after going to Danny Howells the night before ha!) then went out for a nice chinese meal with his family.

Sun - cooked a roast for some guests!! Then spent the rest of the night watching American Idol/Planet Earth and eating cheese crackers :D

A nice relaxing weekend :p

spent all last week in the lake district, walking for hours on end every day in my finest rambler gear (waterproof trousers and everything) had a really great time.

tried to get to the top of Skiddaw (1000m) but the wind and rain got the better of us. at 700m we could hardly stand in the wind so made our way down the long way round and followed the river back to keswick. along the river we saw loads of wonderful stuff including a kingfisher:)

cooked brekkie every morning and finest ales every night. got home on sat pm feeling refreshed and relaxed

so... went to ministry on sat night. sander K and desyln mayelo (sp?). excellent tunes but the place wasn't very full and a bit to full of ministry deadbeats.
but the great company made the night and twas really, really, really good to see babs, ferd, hollyg and cookie etc

afterwards went to turnmills for VVVWrong. not esp impressed tbh. music is ok but they really do need to sort their door policy out. LOTS of pretty scary, sweat drenched munters. the first dj, upstairs played 70s/80s disco from 7" singles and was fab. everybody was singing along:). will prob stick to egg for afters though.

got home, slept, had great dinner, a bath and early night and feel grrrreat today.

Did you see Sheridan's Gladiator outfit? Apparently it was a full authentic weight outfit not a light costume. How do you walk around in that?

you should have hung around for a couple of hours for the best, most keenly priced silver jewellery in town (just ask mrs mark sun)

Really was vv.wrong indeed that bad? Was it busy? What were the crowd like?

it wasnt that bad. just t2 and the moroccan tarts boudoir room upstairs were open. not very busy and most of us were given either free or £5 vouchers at ministry. the crowd were ok i suppose, not anywhere near as friendly as egg though.

I totally agree with Russ compared to Egg it was terrible  No atmosphere and not terribly friendly at all. I really don't think Turnmills as a club lends itself as a good afterparty.

I really had trouble dancing becuase the floor was so filthy my shoes kept sticking to it and I was near to losing them 8O It wan't just the dance floor that was like that - the whole club was absolutely filthy. I definitely won't be going back.

And yes Buckley, Tim Sherridan had the full rig out on and was handing out sweets from his helmet 8O

Went out for a quiet meal on Saturday for a friends birthday and just after I'd ordered a Rogan Josh we decided to have a road trip to London  decided it would be a good idea to leave the curry and as I was the only one that hadn't drunk I was nominated driver up there. We queued at Turnmills for half hour before being told the door was now closed for at least 45 mins  I'd dropped as we joined the q so getting back in the driving seat wasn't the best idea but decided to go the cross for Xpress 2, so a short scary drive followed!

Had a fab night after eventually getting there about 1.30, Xpress 2 were ok, kept building up and then dropping flat but everyone seemed to be having a good time. Usual moan about the venue though, everyone is always trying to get somewhere, it's hard to find a personal dance space where you aren't constantly getting barged or punching someone in the head!

Considered VVVWI but decided we needed to sort ourselves out for the journey back and going to afters wouldnt have the same effect as coffee and a nice walk around kings cross

Fri - lots of drinks after work in the T Bar.

Sat - didn't get out of my Sheboggle cave  til 11am, did a bit of packing for the move, then retired back to my Sheboggle cave for a little siesta  Tom got in from work and we drove over to the Gollum's HFML for pre-Ministry drinks and general minxiness. Got into Ministry at 11.30, few drinks upstairs in VIP and caught up with lots of familiar faces :D Now I'm going to be controversial but I really don't rate Sander K or Dessyn that much :? I think they're both very good at what they do but it's just not to my cup of tea :? Had lots of fun throwing some shapes and then having a good old gas ;) Left at the end, contemplated VVVW but Tom's car was at Gollums and it would have meant crossing all areas of London so went back to Rach's, carried on with crushing, snorting and general wrongness, left there last night and thought if we made it thru the night it would be a miracle in itself 8O

Great weekend tho :D

After my hectic 2 days away from the office - Friday was a much needed chill night.....

Phil came to collect me from work, ran me a hot bubble bath, made me a giggling ciggie left me to chill and he went off to Asda to do the monthly shop..... bliss!!!!

Cooked a lovely chicken casserole with hot crusty bread and just chilled all night 8)

Sat: Phil went off to the match I mooched around listening to some oldie but favourite tracks and read. A friend popped over unexpectedly and I cooked us a lunch which was a lovely interlude to the afternoon.

Phil rang me from the M6 at 8.30pm asking if I wanted to be "naughty" when he got home - his co pilot and passenger in the car where very very "excitable" as they had picked up some new stuff - and after our 3 week rest I was thinking to myself "hmmmmmm - do I want to be naughty or should I be sensible" until Phil said - "you'll have to go and collect it tho babes" which basically made the decision for us as I had had another 2 laughing ciggies and couldnt drive....... so a sensible night was again the way forward.:)

Sun: Day at the beach with the pooch, a gorgeous sunday lunch with a pint of beer and a stop at the best home made ice cream parlour ever!!! Got a big cartonto take away - got home in time for ther boatrace then watched the Grand Prix which we had recorded before we went out.

So all in all pretty sensible weekend (again!!!!)

Roll on Easter - with properly planned time away from work I am sure I can fit in a bit of depraved behaviour
