Went to a party in a disued underground station last night. great venue, cheap bar, nice crowd, quality music. A proper party

everywhere at the momement seems to be having a kinda Hed Kandi hour. Must say it cheers the place up to hear some good time disco heaven. Music later on reminded me of bora bora, which is good. Tune of the night was that Scissor Sisters hello hello is there anybody in there monster.

Can I make a request, via this forum to ALL DJ's EVERYWHERE:

As my uncle Herbie would say, if he ever rose from the dead and went clubbing "oi vey, enough already with the Eurythmics,Sweet Dreams"

WE HAVE HEARD THIS TUNE SUFFICENT TIMES TO LAST A LIFETIME.
IT IS TIME FOR THIS RECORD TO BE RETIRED.
PLEASE DO NOT PLAY IT ANYMORE.

my weekend was ace

went to the arches on friday to see plump djs and stanton warriors and they were both outstanding, quality tuneage being played (and defo no sweet dreams!!).

the crowd was really up for it and all seemed to be on the same level, wasn't too quiet or too busy - just perfect.

back to mine for a party after and finally got to bed at 2 this morning!!!

just been out for lunch seeing as i hadn't eaten anything since friday lunchtime so thought i'd better - couldn't eat much tho!!!

You said it Russ - I wasn't that crazy about the tune when it first came out and when Morillo dropped it to close a We Love Sundays I was . Perhaps we're missing something?

You don't wanna know what Corey dropped in the Electric Box on Saturday night ... I had to ring my daughter up so she could listen and confirm what I was hearing cos I thought I wasn't hearing right ...

The Darkenss ... I believe In A Thing Called Love .. sort of housed up but .. oh my god, that IS scraping the barrell!

So the Plumps were good then? Wish I'd went to this now. Had an early start to Edinburgh on saturday morning to visit my sisters though so i couldnt.

ooo noooo i dont likes speed garage very much to be honest mate. They normally play it in there after a certain time so we normally leave at that point.

We went to Sobar after because they started playing it not long after our first drink.

It's prob that SFB vs The Darkness. It's ok the first time you hear it, but grates after a while.

yeah they were amazing as we the stantons, never heard much of ali b tho. best nite i've had at the arches in a long time

I was really impressed when I saw the Stantons. 8)
