Did you follow your plan?
http://www.spotlight-forums.com/showthread.php?t=69622

I did, bar Saturday's semi final getting postponed. Went to the Tate Modern instead.

Oh and guess I planned to celebrate Arsenal's first silverware for half a decade so that didn't quite pan out:spank:

Saw 'Animal Kingdom' Saturday night - sort of like Neighbours with guns and drugs. Watchable

A good weekly shop at Asda, chopped all my wood for the log burner but alas did not learn how to post photos on Spotlight.

I also managed to make it into work.

Jason Manford was really good on Friday, especially when a drunk heckler thought he was a big man trying to kick off on him. He got took to the cleaners big time, was so funny to see it happen.

cant remember what i said i was going to do but it was unlikely to be "rock n roll"

Fri: Bought a car that I dont like but needs must.....

Sat: got in the garden to start work - managed one side before i almost collapsed from sheer exhaustion :spank: so unfit! then watched the Everton v Sunderland match stayed in and watched The Expendables - what a crock!!

Sun: went out for the day coastal walk then ended up having Sunday Lunch out then a walk back - watched the West Ham Match then the Arsenal match - will say nothing .......:D

What car did you get?

I have The Expendables on my Lovefilm list, might take it off then

My weekend was rather nice, we had a nice late lunch with friends which turned a bit messy, lots of wine, good though - officially a lightweight - we got home about 8 (been out since 230) and felt a bit sick and a bit drunk :lol:

Sunday was a day to myself as boyfriend set off early for Arsenal (he is very upset right now) so lots of telly, pampering myself, taking it easy then I got bored and went to my parents for a roast dinner

Mine was as planed. Sorting the builder out as he has started my kitchen and managed to get a start on a couple of edits in the studio.

The Expendables is the greatest lads film ever imo

the expendables is EXTREMELY entertaining PROVIDED you approach it in the right spirit

ie -

DON'T analyse the plot, the acting or the ending or expect anything other than guns and heroes and creepy unamerican bad guys

DO laugh out loud during the shootouts and exaggerated reverb whenever a bazooka is fired and if you can't contain yourself any further then shout out "whoomph there it is" as the chopper goes in low and pulverises the enemy turrets (as happened in the seats behind us when I saw it at the pictures)

I think I said this before, but it does fall down at times, especially during the weepier moments, when it all gets a bit too serious, (sly is supposed to be sending himself up right?!) but ultimately it's basically the ageing action hero equivalent of some rave reunion. All a bit embarrassing but ultimately a good laugh.

Fri drove to Washington DC had dinner with brothers family

Sat Went to an Ethiopian restaurant in Adams Morgan (mind open now:oops:) Food was excellent who knew?

Sun Watch Arsenal lose to Birmingham:eek: drove back to New Jersey

Agreed. I quite enjoyed it, as it was viewed in the right spirit.

My weekend went more or less as planned.
Birthday party and Superfreq @ Solyanka on Friday.
Drinks with the gang then Arma17 on Saturday. DJ Sneak didn't make it but others in the line-up were quite good.
Watched football and various other television on Sunday

Made home made calamari + steak, wedges and peppercorn sauce. was a domestic god.

steak was not home made.
