The old traditions must be preserved.... 8)

Saturday : Went to see REM at Hammersmith Apollo...quite simply brilliant...lots of fun at the front with our new sweat coated friends... :D :D

Then went to a couple of bars before heading for Egg....its been said before but WTF is happening in Kings Cross....cue trek around the housing estates of KC...lovely... ...especially nice in the arctic...

Once inside got warmed up on vodka... :D ...kept it straight...how funny that is as the randoms chat to you...  ...left about 4.30am with some takeaway ;) after deciding the toilets were like a scene from Brandos camp in Apocalypse Now...

Sunday : Shopping for skiing gear and then back home for a naughty school night session....  ....agreed we are both giving up... 8O

Very civilised wkend indeed for me 8O

Fri/Sat - had my mum and dad, gran and grandad down so did lots of nice stuff with them, ate nice food and did some shopping.

Sun - went shopping with Tom, bought sooooooo many new clothes :D Was going to watch the football in the pub but me and Tom had started a 5 day detox (his idea not mine   ) and I knew I wouldn't be able to sit in a pub without alcohol. Came home, watched football, drank green tea and ate some rabbit food

Roll on Friday when I can drink again 8O :D

Fri night : Babysitting my 6month old nephew now that was hard work

Sat day - Shopping in Coleraine followed by drinks

Sat Night - Lush in Portrush - Fantastic night

Sunday - Thanks to those kind people who live next door to the Anchor bar for the party!!! madness

Still havent slept 8O

Fri: Drove down to Glasgow to see my girlfriend for the weekend. Really nice quiet night in with a dvd and a bottle of wine 8) :D

Sat: Another relaxing bed day 8) Then at night, headed into Glasgow to meet up with big group of mates to go see everyone from here's favourite...Tiesto ;) Great night, met lots of good friends, and thought the venue was wicked :P Back to an afterparty, before crashing into bed at 11am.

Sun: Couldnt sleep :? So just got up and went for a nice long walk to clear the head, followed by a big Sunday roast at Leanne's parents place 8O

Great weekend 8) :P

Friday: it was my niece 3rd birthday, so went to that party where teletubie's song was the tune of the day 8O   Then went to my mate's bar for drinks and laughs
Saturday: nothings special except a seafood dinner with pep and me drinking a bottle and a half of white on my own
Sunday: pick up some friends and went to the south for a lovely barbecue and a whole day indoors

Friday: My friend Jack was desperate to get messy before her plane left for Sydney so we hit Ghetto in Soho for their Friday night electro sesh. Was very impressed with the people and music...very relaxed and well worth it if you're on a 'quiet one' but still have the urge to go out and get tw*tted.

Saturday: Spent most of it in bed & then met friends in Brixton for what was billed as a 'sensible yogi tea catch up'..."Fook that" I thought and within seconds the wine was flowing...Hours later we could be found slumped on the sofas with empty wallets on top vile form!
Unfortunately was so messy that I had to lunch out on a date with a gorgeous boy. However, the chosen venue was beyond and I've had a t!ts full of that dirty place.

Sunday: Met grown up friends for a civilised Sunday meal in Walthamstow.

Saturday afternoon saw Killers at Brixton Academy.. they were good, but it reminded me why I much prefer clubbing to live bands/gigs ;)

Later went on to Serious. Trophy Twins and Simon Patterson were the best.

Slept sunday.

Really quiet one for me

Friday: Nothing

Saturday: Went and checked out some more apartments and had my hair done. Went for a curry on the evening.

Sunday: Went and visited Mom and Joeys brothers

Thats it but it was really nice and relaxing :D

I'm a little late reporting this week... i'll write anyway since it was a bang-up weekend out here in ole Moskva.

Friday - Started with my usual happy hour with a bunch of journalists but after running home to change, me and the missus went to the opening of a new bar/cafe called Matiz. Barbara Tucker was headlining. I never have made it to In Bed with Space but I saw her at a huge party here 3 years ago and enjoyed. She was diva-like as ever but the CD she brought as backing music began to skip and she and the DJ got into some freestyle. Short but sweet set.

We wandered off to another club, Skazka, where an Italian DJ whose name I've forgotten was playing. Obviously, that part of the evening was forgettable.

Saturday - Attended the Global Underground party at club Slava. Nick Warren was headlining and played a very nice deep set from 2-5. A guy names Ashley was on before him (for various reasons, his last name escapes me now) who was also not half bad. Made it home around 6:45 very pleased with the evening. (this, despite having rowed with the wife prior to my heading out to the party)

Sunday - Was shocked and saddened by the carnage on the field at St. James Park (but found hope in the fact that a 7-man team was outplaying 11 men in the 2nd half). Got yelled at for smoking by one of my bosses, who also happened to be at the sports bar where we watched the football game.
