Weekend Reports (anyone here?!)

Geez it's quiet around these parts today!
And no weekend thread? What are you all up to?

A relatively relaxed weekend for me:

Friday - Out boozing at a pub in Chelsea with a few friends

Saturday - Flew back to Moscow. Quiet night in with some Lost, Daily Show and Colbert Report

Sunday - Worked during the day but it was so sunny and beautiful outside that it put me in an Ibiza mood. Came home and made a pitcher of sangria and a pot of one of my favorite Ibicenco dishes, sofrit pages :D

First time trying it at home. Turned out delicious! 8)
 
Got out of town early Friday, headed to mu Mum's!
Sat, spent the day mowing the grass, then played Golf, 1st time this year!!
Sunday, went to a cracking Cotswold Pub!
Monday, spent the day at Blenheim Palace, just north of Oxford, Duke of Malborough's place! Absolutely stunning building, and the Capabilty Brown grounds were amazing!

Feel great for a clean weekend!! 8)8)
 
I think everyone in the UK is outside enjoying 1 of the 4 days of sunshine we get here in the summer.

Good to see you last thursday briefly Morbyd.

Spent weekend in the isle of wight.
Thursday's Mixmag party was fun though. Best set was from Digitalism
 
I hear you my man! Like a ghost town last couple days!

Friday couple of Kronenbourgs en route to meet the missus and my little girl to go food shopping! Chilled out indoors with a bottle of wine.

Saturday - picked my boy early doors with my missus and little girl. Met my old man and all went to the farm for the day! Kids loved all the animals and rides so money well spent. Got my bald head burnt and now peeling today! Evening just chilled indoors watching Monster House again:rolleyes: and then Blades of Glory on Sky which was ok.

Sunday - Took kids swimming early doors, got newspapers then cooked breakfast for the clan. Took kids over park for a run so they would nap during the footie! Took my boy home and then just chilled with missus and daughter for the evening catching up on some sky +action.

Monday - Housework before took the famaily out for lunch and then couple of beers in a beer garden before heading home. Monday evening, just watched TV and read magazines etc etc. Nice weekend in general.
 
Had the most civillised bank holiday EVER, but very enjoyable all the same.

Fri - tapas and wine after work with Tom

Sat - took Tom to Blue Elephant as a suprise, thought food, service and setting were all out of this world, will def be going back

Sun - spent the day doing DIY (how 'grown-up' is it when you spend a Bank Holiday weekend doing DIY :oops::lol:)

Mon - went to Thorpe Park for the day which was ACE and spent the day being big kids :lol:
 
spent 8hrs over the whole weekend at my usual woodland spot and took zero photos as all the birdies seemed to have vanished....

had to console myself to one of the lakes at lea valley, getting attacked by hungry swans, while taking pics of some tufted ducks.

other than that GTA IV and figuring how to get the thing on Xbox live via mac/3 modem.:spank:
 
Mental weekend, went to a festival/clubs/partys took narcotics, drank a lot and general debauchery, but good craic all the same.:)

Did you flash your lights in the wrong sequence perhaps Chewster? I'm sure one of Rusty's ring could enlighten you on dogging etiquette....
 
Fri: Drove to Leamington Spa

Saturday: Drove to Carlisle from LS, sank a few and watched Carlisle v Bournemouth. We went down but was amazing atmosphere and really good day despite results. Too depressed to enjoy Carlisle nightlife ( despite looking suprisingly big and good ). So went back to hotel with curry and MOTD. S

Sunday: Drove back to Leamington, sunk a few more and had a curry, back to Bournemouth Monday morning. It is constantly lovely and sunny in Bournemouth so just been enjoying it, going down to a beer garden in a bit to revise which should be fantastic. It's so hard not to drink when it's sunny, Kronenbourg has never tasted soooooo good.
 
Here physically - mentally - not so sure.... getting head down and doing work as its first day back and cant afford to take eye off ball.....

Lots of silly fun/laughs galore /giggles a plenty /:eek: moments x 1,000 and fabulous, fabulous company which culminated in around 5hrs sleep in 3 days....

Dont think I have laughed as much in ages....

Safe to say it will be a long time before I do anything like this again :oops::oops::oops::oops:
 
Fri.....Mate was doing a night in the Underbelly at Zigfrieds in Hoxton Square....Good night and tunes.....ended up in Trailer Trash which I havent done for a few months. As fun / random as ever. Ended up at the mate who threw the night at Zigfireds house for an afterparty. Ouch!

Sat ......Went randomly to play some Basketball down at the courts in Kings Cross with a few mates. God I was rubbish. And in pain afterwards. Went to watch Iron Man in the evening which was very good! Robert Downey Jr was quality!

Sun......SecretSundaze with the crew. About 15 of us went and although Ministry was bursting to the seems in the outdoor courtyard, had a cracking day. Good tunes, weather held out and met lots of people I know from these type of events so was fun. Ended up at the afterparty at the Coronet which is a cave! Absolutely huge. Was decent and enjoyed the space to dance. Died around 2am which was admittedly after around 11 hours of dancing

Mon.....Relaxed day just chilling in the pak and enjoying the sunshine

All in all a great weekend!!

 
Had the parents over all weekend, result - fantastic garden but mangled brain from 3462938473298479 questions and mindless chatter!!

Lovely meal in Ealing at Charlottes Place on Sat night

Escorted them to Paddington for train home to Devon on Monday morning and spent rest of day recovering sanity

Cant wait for this weekend, after a few quiet ones...
 
Friday.. Spent a great day in Brighton with a bubbly sugar powered Paris Hilton lookalike.
Worked on Saturday daytime. Then took a flight to Ibiza and arrived at midnight. Got changed in the airport carpark and went to Blue Marlin for Carlos Diaz. Went from there to Pacha for Defected then home about 8am.

Sunday... Got woke up too early by a friend wanting to try out his new boat. Turned phone off. Went for some Tapas at 5pm then over to Blue Marlin for Paco Fernandez + son. Great vibe down there...lots of party people. Friend with boat eventually showed up looking a bit windswept with the ' You never told me it was this far!!'
Finished off at about 2am with a chilled villa and vino.
