Weekend Plans

A chilled one this weekend as starting a new role and will be working from home from Monday. Just had a few farewell drinks with the with the work friends before I transition to home working within the same Company. No work more 2.5 hour travel😊 I can’t wait….and f*** off Frogface you cu next Tuesday!!
Sorry moderator but has to be said!! 😂

Fri - funeral of my wife's grandma, turned Into a nice celebration of her 92yrs on the planet. Kids club at night

Sat - u8 quarter final of cup 🤞Son is at a party in an arcade, whilst we go to brilliant restaurant in the Ribble Valley.

Sun - decorator, visit friends and find time to pack for + weeks of travelling in the Philippines 😁

Early shout to the weekend because I'm snowed under after today.

Friday - early start for a flight to Belfast, pick up a hire car there and head to Donegal.

Saturday - kids' GAA tournament

Sunday - 2nd day of tournament cancelled so we're off out sightseeing. In the evening there's a big dinner where the kids get their awards etc

Monday - back to Belfast fly home.

Big question - should I step off the wagon for the weekend? It looks like the parents are planning a lot of drinking while the kids tear around.....

I think you should definitely step off the wagon and join in.

However I’ve had several “sample” rose’s during a wine tour at lunchtime and fell in to a ballpit so don’t listen to me 😂

yes.

Friday

Back-to-back hygienist and dental appointments on Friday morning - not fun, not cheap. England friendly in the evening to get (hopefully) in the mood for the World Cup.

Saturday

House Against Hate protest rave in Trafalgar Square and then onto Forward Motion at Studio 338 later. No doubt silliness all through the night until some ungodly hour on Sunday. Last London blow out before returning to Ibiza on Monday (well, until I pop back next month 🤷‍♂️)

What's Forward Motion like? Ex-Abode chap's do rlght? In my head it's like the UK Garage/House crossover stuff we sometimes ended up in early 2000s. Storming fun, bit rough tound the edges?
