Mental stuff mate haha not even as strong as spiced rum which i can drink for fun but it sends you loopy. The hangovers are brutal as well
 
Weekend Plans (now I'm back in Dubai for a few months):
  • Pacha Icons opening party with Carl Cox at FIVE JBR tonight
  • Gym tomorrow + Hans Zimmer experience candlelight concert
  • Sunday rest + work
Next week, project managing from afar, moving out of my casita 😭
My landlord lost a land dispute, and apparently, a good chunk of my house & garden is not technically on their land, so they're going to knock it down 😭

It's been an incredible (almost) 5 and a half years, but when I get back to Ibiza early next year a new chapter begins!
 
Friday: Paul van Dyk at Zoom Frankfurt. Not sure I want to listen to him for the 3rd time within 4 weeks, but if I don't go, I know I'll regret it later 😅
Saturday/Sunday: rest/work/household chores

Oh no, that sucks 😢 Anyway, your casita has been immortalized in "Moving to Ibiza".
 
Was going to go up to Gloucester tonight for the Bears away match, but am full of the lurgy so will watch it on the box instead.

Tomorrow will be getting started on a contract project that I've been putting off, and then to the opera in the evening (la de dah!)

Sunday will be more of the same, plus the F1 and maybe a roast lunch at the local.
 
Been to eldest's Sports Day and momentarily confused by teachers saying hearty goodbyes and 'enjoy Mexico*' before remembering they are closed for 2 weeks!

Currently typing from pizza place ahead of usual Friday night Arsenal session.

Saturday - take kids to Ju Jitsu, then to my folks, then head off for my footy match. Watch Arsenal in the clubhouse after

Sunday - kids' rugby and then watching football in the aftenoon

*May squeeze some packing in this weekend as have a manic week ahead before family holiday

Yep. My temp job due to finish end of Nov, struggling to find something else now to tie me over December never mind trying to find something at the end of Nov
 
Eyes are on the weekend already here. Big week workwise, quarterly reforecasting under board scutiny...then:

Friday: Arsenal and pizza with both boys

Saturday: 4.30am departure for Birmingham airport (holiday was £1k cheaper than flying from London?). Half-term in Mexico. Hotel between jungle and beach with monkeys, racoons and coatis all over the place. The youngest may explode with happiness!

Fri - monthly meet-up of a German frequent flyer forum
Sat - flying to Mallorca (mainly to bid goodbye to the Boeing 757 fleet of Condor Airlines due to be retired next week)
Sun - enjoying Mallorca museums unless the weather forecast improves :(
Mon - flying to Bilbao, a day in Bilbao, flying home in the evening. A direct flight would have been twice as expensive :rolleyes:
