Weekend Plans

A successful weekend, all told.

Friday - back to pizza and Arsenal with the elsdest. Love it down there, love a Fireaway pizza, and he got player of the day!

Saturday - drama! Went to visit Pa Buckley in the morning. He's desperate to get home and the hospital don't know what the delay in the Care At Home package is, and can't discharge him until it's sorted. It transpires the Care at Home people had rung him on Friday to make arrangements, but he'd thought they were trying to put him IN a care home, so he'd told them where to go. I manage to get that all sorted, but the discharge process is going to take time AND the hospital now don't have an ambulance available to move him. He either has to wait until Monday, which he emphatically doesn't want to do, or they can help me get him to my car and I'm on my own from there. The clock is ticking to my 13:30 kick off, the full team kit and match balls are in my car. Managed it all in nick of time, including getting him out my fairly low car, up the stairs to his own bed.

Saturday afternoon - 1 nil victory, clean sheet for me as makeshift goalkeeper!

Sunday, kids rugby training in the morning, took the family for nice lunch (though my medium rare steak was nearer to medium well:(), back home to in time to watch Citeh park the bus against Arsenal. Draw as much as we deserved for the conservative starting line-up.

Weekend has started.

Wednesday - Just landed in Cyprus with 5 couples. Going to meet the wedding party in Ayia Napa to get our bearings 🍹

Thursday - wife says it's a chill day. My best mate arrives at dinner with some lads ❌ Apparently some kind of girls/boys seperate brunch sorted.

Friday - Wedding

Saturday - boat trip

Sunday - relax? Late night flight

Still resting up with this injury, so events I'd of liked to have done this morning, I'm taking it easy.

May head out to Hackney for a few drinks on Saturday with my housemate, but otherwise a quiet one. Lisbon the following week though.
 
Rare dinner date with the missus after work today. Courtesy of the outlaws who gave gave me a gift voucher for a nice Thai place in Highbury for my 50th 15 months (!) ago.

Friday - knock off early and meet the eldest for Arsenal and pizza

Saturday - take nippers for haircuts, drop them to Ju-Jitsu, check in on Pa Buckley's recovery. Then big cup game in the afternoon against local rival, 2 divisions above us.

Sunday - kids rugby training in morning (competitive games start next week when the youngest can really start wiping people out💪). Lunchtime to meet up with one my oldest friends who is back from Oz briefly, is schedules align. Back home for Arsenal game at the Toon!
 
First and probable last Pool day for us today. Will probs head along to Bam-Bu-Ku later as one more time is advertised as being on. Everytime i’ve walked past so far this trip it’s been closed though🧐

I’m heading to that later just for a look at Bambuku. When I walked past on Sunday it was open
 
Last night: Shine at 528. Paul Van Dyk played the best set I’ve seen from him in a long time!
Today: see a friend play at Itaca, bambuku for a bit. Eden tonight as another friend is playing room 2.
Tomorrow: Godskitchen
Sunday: death
Monday: fly home. I love Ibiza but I will be very ready for this!

Only open Fri-Sun according to google! Their advertising board at the front of the venue still lists daily events though
