Just a drink round Chesterfield, no really plans where we end up. Next big night is probably OTR in September if you are up here for that?

Bit of a Family and Friends one this weekend
My Best Mate has his Dads Funeral tomorrow so I’m going with him. It’ll be a tough Day
Then pick the eldest up from Reading Festival Tomorrow night, he’s 17 so we’ll look forward to him behaving himself……
Saturday work in the morning and then see my other best Mate. Her uncle is back from the Philippines for a few weeks and he’s brought me back a bottle of Rum so we will crack that open
Try catch some Football, hopefully see Vic get off the mark for Arsenal

Run of the mill stuff...
Fri - Currently sat on a plane to Vegas ready for take off. My temptation is to pack as much as in possible, suggested catching the end of a pool party, cehvk xyz out - vetoed, we are chilling when we arrive. China Town tonight, possibly Freemont St at night but realistically an early un.
Sat - bottomless brunch at 9am - DANGER. Tao pool party at 1pm with Alesso, know his music has changed since coming onto the scene but slim pickings on the quality of music front.
Sunday - pick up the RV after lunch, BIG shop and head north for Burning Man.
Rarely get properly excited for a holiday but I feel like a kid heading to Disney (via Drayton Manor)

So, this weekend, I am.....
- Sat- Taking the dog to a secure play park field type thing over towards Abergavennny
- Sun- Drop dog off at kennels for a night, over to Cardiff for lunch and then Eats Everything, Ezra Collective and Basement Jaxx at Cardiff Castle
- Mon- Pick dog up and then my bro and his family are dropping by for lunch on their way back from Cornwall
- Tues- Off to the Londons to see Coldplay at Wembley- will be my 15th time seeing them (I know, I know.....). Back home for something stupid like 3am
- Weds- Final amendments to my MBA dissertation before submitting it and drawing a line under the last 3 years of hard work

Mid-weekend update: Ezra Collective are incredible live
Eats everything is playing the after party at Kongs if you are looking to go out after. Depot are doing free tickets at the moment.

Completely agree!! Haven’t seen live but from videos and listening to the album they are fantastic

We saw them on Friday, their night 1 of 10 at Wembley! I’m sorry, but even the most negative heartless person in the world would have a a good time. It’s pure freaking amazing. They can take it from 4 of them playing with just a spotlight on them to the high points of My Universe/Sky Full Of Stars… with 90,000 people going crazy…. all in the space of 10 mins.

Still in Ireland until Wednesday. Took the kids to my Dad's home town and school yesterday.
Been for petrol this morning, couldn't get the ancient pump to work. No sign of anyone. 5 mins later I hear a phone ring in the shop and a lady appears. "Sorry about that, the Mother must have gone to to the loo." Turns out their system is the Mother watches from the window of the house over the road and rings over when someone comes. I love it.
Pretty certain I don't qualify for young by any stretch of the imagination, but I've scarcely left the house all weekend while all my mates have been tearing it up at Lost Village. Has been amusing living the festival vicariously through their numerous "where are you?" "we're at the X stage" posts

I think the most excitement I’ve had this weekend is house hunting with my parents (for them not me). Tomorrow I find out if they are going to put an offer in

I do hope that the youngsters are still going on all-weekend manouevres though. Couldn't manage it these days, but I'd be gutted if the spirit of the long weekend of random occurneces has waned

Just got back from Lost Village festival been on it since Thursday. I put a little review in the international festivals thread.
That festival is proof you're never too old. Met plenty of 40, 50 and even some 60 year olds...
You also can't get more random than the things witnessed there.
