Weekend Plans

When I was growing up, the PSBs always divided my friends into the ones who thought they were too pop and the ones who thought they were too arty, whereas I think they got the balance just right. Introspective is one of my fave albums, with sharp lyrics throughout (+ a bit of help from Frankie Knuckles). I guess the amazing news this week about the approved AIDS vaccine gives a new poignancy to tunes like Domino Dancing

Wedding in Edinburgh last Saturday. Wedding in Cheshire yesterday.
Saturday morning I get to organise a Treasure Hunt in my garden for my niece’s birthday. Followed by a late lunch in Manchester and on to Sasha & Digweed.

Fri - meal with two families at a local pub to meet a new baby, he was lovely ☺️ Pub is full of character, over looking countryside but the foos has been consistently crap for 15+yrs but the new owners have completely turned it around. Home for a sensible time.

Sat - early dart to Manchester with wife and son. Wife shopping for BurningMan outfits after being scammed on Insta, even shw can laugh now 😂😂 visted Afflets and load of places in NQ. Dinner (lunch to the southerners) at Mala, cute food market style place.
Evening we went to a Michelin star place at home to celebrate my wife's birthday, food was good but like any taster menu, sometimes the dishes just don't suit our taste.

Sun - hopefully a cheap day 😅 Park and jobs around the house, pack for the dog's holiday 😒

Friday night Arsenal sessions back on from this week, so pizza and that on Friday

Missus has the kids down are her Mum's all day Saturday so after footy training Saturday, I'll need a plan

Sunday - folks in the morning, watching Community Shield in the afternoon, really lookig forward to it ahead of Premier Leage the week after n

This week has been long already despite being a short week for me (off on Friday).

Back to Bristol this weekend for the Balloon Fiesta and to see family. Can't wait. Ibiza is just two weeks away now!

We are on the "dog's holiday", apparently it is only fair as we travel abroad without him too often.

Thurs - Crabbing, walking in the beach (low tide), crafting at an art centre and bimbling around Watchet in Somerset

Fri - Taunton for a high ropes adventure with lad and Mrs. Believe there is a dj on in quay side at night no idea what theyll play, great little harbour village - not expecting reaching for the lazers but some ambient house would be nice.

Sat -?

Sunday - Croyde surfing, not forecasted good waves which should be fine as a beginner and good for body boarding with young man.

Monday - back to normality
