Weekend Plans

Fri - quiet. Mrs was working. Lad went to the church club. Packed.

Sat - Morning Mrs still working. Kids party, dump n run, got some bits in town. Then we met my wife at a canal side restaurant for tapas in the blazing sun. Airport. Arrive in Stockholm late, 1am and transfer had got the dates wrong 😒 Hotel bar not open, not ready for bed.

Apprehensively made my way Trädgården. I knew I only had an hour but wanted to check the Techno party out. Loved the quirky place, reminded me of the ruin bars in Budapest - basically set under a motorway bridge by the river. Real mixed very busy crowd, as there are rooms playing alls sorts from RnB to techno. Got in the cave like 'room' next to the dj box and danced till it closed.

Sun - Nackareservatet (Nacka Nature Reserve) hiking, swimming and may try my first traditional Swedish sauna. Later meet colleagues in Gamla Stan, the Old Town, food a meal.

Work for a few days after. Back to Trädgården Thursday Partiboy69 🤔
 
Barely left the garden/house since coming home from work Friday afternoon. I did nip out to the butchers for the dogs mince and a steak for my daughter at one point.
Nice wines, decent beers and food, tapas for lunch and bbq for dinner yesterday.

Original plan was a rooftop party in Manchester but they changed the venue, plus due to heat sort of CBA getting the Freda into town put us off. The Oasis gig jetsam and flotsam didn’t seem appealing either.

Airport run later this afternoon collecting youngest daughter and fella.

Relatable ! Admittedly by about 4pm yesterday afternoon id have enough of the sun and more than enough food off the barbecue so came inside with the fan on full belt

This evening off to Motion for GIA, a local DJ who has supported a few times I've been down. Saw her first at PvD and has popped up a few times in Ibiza supporting various nights here and there.

Not sure I'll make the final Motion closing 24 hour stint tomorrow into Sunday but today should be a sad / nice send off with a few old school trance tracks thrown out.

The rest of the weekend going to probably chill and kill a few hours on Death Stranding 2 role playing as an post-apocalyptic Amazon delivery guy.

Heading to the just jack last dance tomorrow. No chance I’ll 24 hours. Sad times though some great nights there over the past however many years.
