Weekend Plans

Tonight dinner at Balafia with a very famous member of this forum.
Tomorrow lunch at the finca of our ibicenco super friend, fresh fish (he's a professional fisher) on the menu.
Friday shopping in ibiza, beach the afternoon, nothing planned at night, I think we'll stay quietly at home.
Saturday Las Dalias-Akasha to see the Spanish legend DJ Chus.
Sunday no plan.

I'm off to Oslo for another 4 day weekend. There'll be a massive music festival on Saturday with more than 500 artists/bands playing at 50 different places.

I'll most likely be entrenched most of the day at the bar/night club Dattera til Hagen, where only electronic/EDM will be played.

Rebuke is playing at another venue late in the evening. I doubt I'll be going there.

Funfact: When I was studying in Oslo 25 years ago, Dattera til Hagen was one the 5-6 drinking/partying places that my groups of friends frequented. It's the only one that has survived.
 
Nice weekend planned here:

Fri- Bath v Bristol in the rugby play off semi final. Biggest match for Bristol in 4 years, plus my ticket was a freebie
Sat- Home day, getting the garden sorted, BBQ, Glastonbury prepping and other odd jobs
Sun- Might go up to the Glos CCC ground to watch the England v West Indies T20 if I can land a cheapy ticket on the morning of
 
Heading to Madrid for the weekend today with friends, couple of things planned, but mainly just go and see how things flow. Potentially heading to Lab the club tomorrow night, bullfighting Saturday.
There's a Music On day festival on Saturday we might try to get resale tickets for.

Off to the airport at 10am
 
in 'other' news, we got back from the coast yesterday after a few days away to find a massive leak from the flat upstairs, which not only knocked out the lift (on 6th floor), but also flooded our parquet floor, destroyed my gf's beloved Crossley record player and ruined a few pictures, as well as leaving half the ceiling looking decidedly flakey

Chill weekend really after last weekend's antics.

Sat or Sun AM - trying to get some friends to go for a hike of some sort.
Sat afternoon - BBQ at Can Rudayla
Sun afternoon - popping into a BBQ at a friend's house near Benumissa, then potentially a little check to Pikes in the afternoon.

Just found out that the Sunday crew are doing 50% of drinks for residents between 5-8pm.. be rude not to.

It's brilliant in my opinion, went to see The Streets recently. You get a good view from all over, can get to the front comfortably and exit for bar/toilet easily. Bars are quick, toilets a little longer.

The venue is right in town, so lots of otpions pre/post for a drink, train station is close too.
 
Crazy busy weekend coming up for me, tonight my bar celebrates it’s first birthday, tomorrow and Saturday Torremolinos pride will be in full swing, the weather is great at the moment so it promises to buy a very busy weekend. It’s all worth it though Monday is Ibiza time.
