Happy fathers day indeed to all the dads on here. I was gifted 3 litre bottles of Sol, a bottle opener (they know me so well) and some chocolates.
The girls have devoured the chocs, i'm going to add a bottle of buckfast to the Sols and chill in front of the tv all day and enjoy some world cup games

I hear ya, I got a bonus and still spent far too much eekk..going to pay for it the next few months!!

I expect a lot will go towards Ibiza especially after taxman has got to it succeeded being sensible, just need to keep it up for another 2 months!

Early forecasts suggest its to pish down. Il bring a poncho but if its glastonbury style mucked to the eyeballs il hit the cathedral quarter instead and catch the youtube version a few days later

Having to walk through one of the more trendy areas of the city on my way to the gig and on the way back I can't be having farmer boots on. I shall be trying to attract a particular type of lady on the night and Martha or Betsy the massy ferguson drivers arnt the demographic im hoping for

Seriously though. I value comfort over wet feet and wellies just arnt an option. Hence why if the weather is truly shite, il sacrifice my ticket for a night on the town.
Having said that. By the time the chemicals kick in i'll probably be happy enough rolling around in the muck

Anything open air here seems to attract all the welly wearers like they are the latest fashion - but thinking about it, it does tend to be the ladies wearing them - it’s like a festival uniform

Yeah some heavy hitters playing.. the local club Republik are putting it on. 2pm- 12am. I think it might be casualty central.. every kid from 16yr around here have tickets my oldest said.. she's only 19 and is a bit freaked out about going..

A small tip about Alton Towers rides - The queues are massive, but if you stay right til the end of the day, the park stays open until there there are no longer any queues (if that makes sense). Come 5pm, everyone nobs off back to the car parks etc but the park stays open.
