Weekend Plans.......

i used to drink in the nightingale when i was in the 6th form. It is a shame that there really are no nice pubs in wanstead. Unless you like the cuckfield!

how come that 2yrs ago we went to ministrys birthday and it was the same weekend as my birthday which is in september and now its birthday is 2 months later?

unless you have actually been Cuckfields in last year I would not comment on it as it has changed more than you can imagine - it is now mainly a food pub catering in great food - with a family atmpsphere and amazing garden -

belive it or not as I used to know the original cuckfield and I would not step foot in the place

saying that I really do not want more pubs/bars popping up making it a place to go out

I like that pub and the veggie roasts looked yummy - next time the Sawyers come over I am getting my fls ar$e in there at midday and not moving til I am stuffed :D:lol:

Not too exciting this weekend.

Fri: Facial and various beauty treatments (professional - not my slap dash regime.... :?:lol::lol:)

Sat day: Out with Phil's work colleagues on a leaving bash - got to be on best behaviour - first time for me meeting them - I am soooooooo not a fan of day time drinking

Sat night: Die a slow and agonising death feeling crap from drinking hours earlier.

Sun: Nothing - berate myself for stupidly going out drinking through the day..... :spank::spank::spank::spank:

yep the cuckfields roast looks good, I know their homemade burgers are anyway - we'll try penicl in a date soon

such a shame about sunday, never seen such a terrible dinner and I have had bec cook for me before:);)

still, I will use the nightingale for a quite saturday drink, just remembering to not eat a roast there

Fri - TBar :( for Whatever-It-Is-They-Have-There-On-A-Friday with some Brighton pals (for as little as poss til they all realise that it's not the uber-trendy wreck-head haunt open all weekend, and is just (nowadays) an atmosphere-less den of corona drinkers full of fashion try-hards and Essex boys on the pull!

Then over to the Big Chill Bar for a bunch of French and British disco DJ's doing their thing before heading up to the Key (for probably the last time :() for Milky Disco for my current main man Prins Thomas and a load of other cosmic disco bods for some silly lit-up-dancefloor based antics ;)). No plans for afters (entirely understandable due to the likely 5pm start)

Sat - Recover (urgh!), then in the evening out to the Cross for Halo, which will also (hopefully!) be my last venture there. expecting a massive turn out from a lot of old pals for this one (according to Facebook, anyway!)

Sun - HOPEFULLY go to an afterparty (I haven't been to a proper one in London for years!), and spend the whole of Sunday getting right royally ruined in semi-public surrounded by people in a similar state! ;)

Who you supporting?
I'm torn... I want Russia to win for obvious reasons (i.e. I live here, and the flight home will be a lot more lively ). But I like the English players and have a lot of English friends so I want Israel to win too.

But.... as I'm traveling with Russian friends, I guess it'll have to be Russia!

Morbyd - go with your heart! England all the way mate, they will respect you more (maybe).

Me, round to my mates to sample his home grown white widow on Friday8) X 10.

Sat day, round to my grans to do her garden, then a few pints in West Didsbury, Mancunica.

Sunday, work work and work again in preparation for huge week at work. Tiring, yet strangely adrenalizing at the same time.

Danielsan, I'm plumping for it being better that you're not hideously disappointed on the night by telling the dancefloor is broken:cry:. They won't spend the cash on fixing it now either:cry:

Trying to make it a relaxing post-Berlin one for me as havent anywhere near recovered as yet and still have the blues if thats possible after a 3day holiday.

Fri - 2 B'day parties to go to - a 25th and 30th - Both drinks at various bars so will probably pop into both, get smashed and then liase with a couple of pals heading down to Trailer Trash later - maybe even with some peopl from said parties in tow

Sat - Relax - starting to get into my new Spanish course so will probs do a couple of hours on that. Friends Engagement dinner in the evening - should be v. civilised

Sun - Off to Leicester for the day to see my grandparents

if it wasnt for Russia your fave soccerball team (current fave) would be languishing somewhere like 5th in the league ;)
