It's Friday already? Travelling this week has thrown me a bit out of whack... but you all have no excuse for not starting a Weekend Plans thread! :spank:

Friday - Got up far too early today, plus the travelling and all that. Might take it easy tonight... at least, nothing planned at this moment.

Saturday - Pre-party at Denis Simachev bar with Finnish DJ Bangkok Impact. Then onwards to a warehouse party headlined by Echomen, G-Pal and..... Danny Howells :D :D :D Missed him in London last week to catch Steve Porter and Gabriel & Dresden, but now he's coming out here so it's all good :D

Sunday - Spend half the day in the sports bar watching the Manchester derby and Chelsea's battle with our evil nemisis

Friday - Simpsons movie and I dread to think where I'll end up afterwards. :?

Saturday - shopping and Fabric in the eve...hope the crowd isn't too horrid.

Sunday - Soho pride - are the gays not proud enough already? I'm beginning to run out of things to be proud of now so suggestions welcome. Rupert St stage should be ok but Soho Sq/Gaydar stage will be downright offensive.

Hi one and all, just popping in, as ya do :)

Fri: House clean and food shop after work tonight.

Sat: Gym first thing and then going into B'ham with Chewie and Joey to look at the local wildlife and grab some sushi. Staying in while the boys go out to play in Stratford watching weddingy things on the tv and doing my nails.

Sun: Waving goodbye to our guest and head back to the gym for another sweat fest. Heading over to my mothers for a quick cuppa and then back home to get ready for another week of work .

Fri: tapa with friends early night
Sat: masters class (last one this term)
bull fight
my local clubs with friends
Sun: relax beach time
lunch with friends
early night back to work:cry:

Friday - Hair trials for friends wedding and a few drinks with a nice meal.

Saturday - Going to wedding hotel to pay deposit and chat about room plan etc. In the evening not doing much except cinema.

Sunday - Nice family meal, dog walking and sleep.

Cant wait for a nice quiet weekend :D

Friday - Having my housewarming tonite, few people meeting for drinks first then back to the apartment where im on the decks fist, ill be playing an early/mid 1990's House set,im seriously out of practice but hopefully it'll go well (playing MP3's on Serato), then im off to socialise and get drunk with my friends and guests, flatmate is playing a club classics set B2B with his mate who's playing electro house, more DJ's on later playing funky house to Techno, should be a top nite.

Saturday - Nothing, recover, clean the apartment as it'll be a right mess no doubt!!!!

Sunday - Out to the pub to watch Manchester derby, fully expecting a United win as usual, Celtic on TV as well so ill obviously watch that.

Not much on, will definitely catch the big Liverpool - Chelsea game on sunday though. 8)

I'd invite you round but I don't know if I can handle you and Tom rucking again ;)

Fri - out with Tom for tapas
Sat - Louie @ Ministry
Sun - aftershow antics and footy

meant to be going to V, but not.

so just back in the pool of life for a wknd of family, friends and football.

Friday: Friends birthday drinks in fulham - if I get to london on time (i.e. leave work 2 hrs early...) will go see bourne ultimatum with him. Probably will get bored of old uni friends fairly quickly and end up in trailer trash :?

Saturday: Friends have organised a big secret type thing during the day but I've rumbled what it is  (shh!) as part of my extended going away celebrations  which will then be followed by fabric, then hopefully not afterhours as my body just can't cope as I've been ill this week.

Sunday: Maybe I'll join rob at soho pride. Rob - there's lots to be proud of - it's a shame you seem to have forgotten so quickly all the awful stuff the gays have been through to get to where we are today. That's why there's gay pride and not straight pride, because gays have been through a struggle. And it's even more important today with the plight of gays in the rest of the world that don't enjoy the freedoms we enjoy, e.g. Poland

VERY important issue! Slightly marred by gays showing their pride by being completely uncivilised  (but I think we can share the blame for that :lol:)

Fri - Gym and then chill with the good lady and a bottle of plonk tonight.

Sat - Have to take car for a service at 08:30 - nightmare, I thought Saturday morning was supposed to be sleepy time! Never mind, off to London in the afternoon, catching Prince at the O2 Arena in the evening!

Sun - Liverpool:) v Chelsea:evil:, then depending on my mood after the game catch up with the girlfriend!

Tonight got some buddies over from t’wirral – heading to west didsbury (Manchester) for a few cheeky ones. Missus on a hen party so have a pass out yahoo, cue carnage!!

Tomorrow, a day of beer & rugby & planning my outfit for a friends float at Manchester pride. Current favourite is with my mate as Rambo & Rocky. Despite being an imposter to a degree, last years pride was my social highlight of the year, ten deep crowds cheering me on & the god squad/BNP (strange they should have so much in common?) protesting against me. I felt like a force for the good!

Then watch england hopefully beat france. Need to check the football schedules first tho to check no clashes as it’s a huge match for Liverpool.

Morbyd, 2.1 to LFC mark my words;)

Sunday, chill out, tidy house, start revising for my association of project management qualification.

Very chilled one planned again so hopefully it wont go all wrong like last Sunday.

Tonaaaight - Few drinks and a meal in Brick Lane - potential East London night spots may be visited afterwards depending on whether my belt still fits around my jeans.

Sat - Down to the lane to see the glamour tie that is Spurs vs Derby. Had planned a big night out with my flat mate and some other uni mates - however said flat mate decided on Tuesday that he was off to Ibiza on Weds as the once (hes coming with a big group of us in Sept as well) just wouldnt be enough. Given he was meant to be organising it I might need to pick up the baton asap

Sun - Good friends Engagement party lunch thingy which should be fun - apparently the food is going to be quite lavish.

I went on my march and did my bit for the gays didn't I?

(*ahem* where were you?)

...and I'm struggling to find a sense of Pride in a corporate event sponsored by pink fatcats and bandwagon jumping drinks distillers. Esp when they play such God awful music and prance around in cowboy hats! (and blue shorts ;))

Political and progressive this ain't. Admittedly some people can't be arsed with being political and just want to have fun - and that's fine too...but that's where I'm allowed to take the pi$$ out of it. ;)

mmm....I cant pretend to empaphise with the struggle etc, and manchester pride is a big session sponsored by beer brands etc. But there is something uplifting (and i dont mean to patronise) to see thousands lining the streets to support pride whilst the protesters just get laughed at.

Yes - agreed...it's a nice atmosphere...just not political that's all.

...and if we're going to compare it with other events running in the capital then this is a big celebration of muscley mediocrity and Vauxhall.

Actually, (memory kicks in) I was at Soho pride last yr also, in the square mainly & the Toucan? ive never seen so many drug casualties in my life! A bit scary actually.

Your right, not political at all from what I could see - even less so than Manchester, just a HUGE session & bonk fest if my eyes and memory are to be believed!
