Is there a specific one you're invited to, or are you just going to wander around into you find one?
it's all about following your nose

Roooooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy
Just remember Kang, that Wembley Way walk back is a lot longer than you think after you've lost!![]()
And with the Stallion sulking it could take an age![]()
Never mind, it wasn't such a bad season, you still have the Carling Cup (and Spurs only beat you once)
If we did happen to lose (yikes I nearly said it aloud) what do you reckon my chances are of getting a ride
It's FA Cup final weekend, Wembleys BACK, and we have the 2 best (Non Spurs) sides in the country with MASSIVE scores to settle playing! Yeee Har!
Too perfect!
I feel like I've been in football hibernation for the last however-many years with a tirade of dull cup finals (aside from Liverpool robbing Arsenal blind, oh, and last years was pretty special too I suppose), and knowing that it was in Cardiff just isn't the same.
I'm off to Pourtsmouth (don't ask!) for the weekend with the family and loads of friends that we used to religiously used to spend FA Cup Final weekend with, all massive football-heads.
I will no doubt shamefully change my allegience to my Mancunian friends for the 48 hours, and spend the whole weekend rehearsing, and perfecting my best 'terrace baritone' of Abide With Me, and reminiscing on the great weekends this fixture has produced!
(Particularly Ian Wright Wright Wright, Dave Clark Five, and fresh conquerers of Liverpool, Palace vs the Goliath of Man Utd in 1990;
And a year later (?) Spurs, freshly after Gazza scored The Best Goal Ever in The Best Semi Final ever, then f*cking himself up in true Gazza fashion (thus reducing a 2 man team into a one man team!), only for Des Walker to save us![]()
![]()
!, I could go on...!)
Christ, I'm getting proper buzzing just thinking about it!![]()
Guaranteed BEAMING hot sunshine (it has never rained in an fa cup final), players lined up in their best suits, and the National Anthem blaring out in the stadium, in every pub and in every front room in every house in the country. ijustcantwait!
(Ladies, if you have any shoppig to do, you could do a lot worse than have a nose round Saturday afternoon!)![]()
Depends who you ask I guess. The Stallion's likely to be more suggestible if you win I reckon.
a watford blackburn would have been a much better final. games between the bigger clubs are usually cagey affairs. hope i'm wrong.
gotta love "abide with me" on cup final day
Maybe, but who cares about Blackburn and Watwho?![]()
This one splits the country. I know Liverpool always try and stifle games, and to an extent I suspect that'll be Chelsea's objective, though it's a rare occasion that Man U turn up and don't play good football.
I do see what you're saying though. It's all about the anticipation anyway, and I still have more hope for these two.
The two best teams, both with one title each this season, both sworn enemies! It's almost like a Wrestlemania title fight match. Keep expecting Mean Gene to come in and say "there's no love lost between these two"!![]()
man u's final against arsenal was sh!t the other year.
if i had to pick, i'd prefer chelsea to win just so the mancs don't do a double. however, if chelsea had won the league, i'd prefer manure to win it.
wrestlemania hype isn't a patch on the waffle prem managers spout these days. we've even got the names too, jos 'the special one' mourinho, arsene 'i didn't see it' wenger and rafa 'we have many possibilities, for sure' benitez.![]()
I know it's in your religion to hate man U like you do the Sun, though as a neutral football fan, and assumign you've got over Ronaldo's antics last year, you can't deny they play good football.
If I really wanted to ruin any respect anyone ever had for me football-wise, I'd say I do kind of 'like' Man U and Liverpool. Good, honourable football teams IMO.
Strangely enough, with Drogba out the past couple of weeks Chelsea have played much more of an attacking, passing game a la Arse & Man U. Unfortunately, without Drogba, Robben or even Shevchenko, all that passing hasn't amounted to much in the way of goals (a la ArsenalThis one splits the country. It'll be interesting to see how things change with Drogba back. I expect to see more of a mix of passing and long balls. But I don't think the boys will sit back and do a Liverpool.... Man U is too dangerous on the attack to do that.

btw, there is no comparison between manutd and the sun.
(Apologies, hope taken in the spirit delivered)
Tevez is a great player, agreed. Almost singlehandedly saved the Hammers over the past 2 months.Carlos Teves...great little player, and the ability to make the Premier league final day more exciting than many we can remember!
As for this coming Saturday, not a fan of either club but want to see 'The chosen one' fall flat on his face with just the Carling Cup for all his multi millions spent.
If they fail to beat United....what odds on him being booted out of Chelskie?
