Weekend Plans

off to Derry for the weekend, cracking little city for a session and the best looking birds in Ireland for sure, leaving tomorrow morning 8)
 
Tonight, not sure, go with the flow!!

Saturday, lazy day sport maybe even shopping!! At night, Size with Angello Lottie Laid Back Like and Marc Hughes!!

Cant get too wasted, as Sunday its a good friends Birthday do, and he has a Michelin Starred Chef cooking at his house, and its been made very clear, dont turn up unless yr bright eyed & bushy tailed!!:?:

I've only been engaged since 5th April but the wedding dress bit is the most important :lol:

Theres so much choice with the venues too :?

I'm on a hen weekend this weekend. Starting with drinks by the river tonight then jumping on the eurostar to Paris in the morning.

its all in the preparation. two thirds of the time should be spent preparing the surfaces (wash down walls with sugar soap, lightly sand the woodwork to rpvide a key for the gloss etc) filling cracks with filler and sanding the filler etc etc

paint coving if you have it first, (you can go over the edges onto the ceiling and walls as you are painting them after

then paint the ceiling "cutting in" the edges with a brush before you paint the middle. use a roller on a long pole

then cut in the corners of the room , below the coving and above the skirtings with a brush and roller the walls

finally do the woodwork.

and make sure you hoover/clean up all the dust before you start painting !!!

job done

oh and do it in daylight or you will miss bits!

Erm that doesnt sound very easy! 8O I think I might get some quotes but if its really expensive have a crack, do it badly and then probably end up having to get someone to do it properly anyway.

Sat - up early...driving to Jerez with everyone to the I MRN Tuning Festival!:? Not really my cup of tea but Ive been commissioned a piece to write....
Lunch....drinks.....sun.....dinner.....:p

Sun - No plans as of yet.....usual Sunday things :D :D :D

Few drinks tonight, then I'm going to the (horse) races at Sandown tomorrow.

Couldn't give a monkeys about the horses, (though may have a peek to see if there are any vets in the scene ;)), but it's an early start, all the boys are out (for the first time together in aaaages), and I dare say it's going to be quite a session.

There has been talk of a club after, though we'll all be in ourt best Smart Casual, and probably on our backs come midnight, so not sure what the rest of the weekend has in stock!

Accordingly, no plans for Sunday ;)
