Weekend Plans

Friday: My friend is coming up to oxford for some dinner thing so will be heading out after that with her to somewhere horrible and cheesy no doubt - can't find any house nights on this friday :evil:

Saturday: Daytime a friend is having a birthday BBQ, then in the evening another friends birthday drinks in brixton, then I'll be departing to the nude warehouse party with rob as they all want to go to cargo :? (what's cargo like on a saturday?) where I won't be tempted to go to jaded afterwards and then the toilet after that. No I won't (can't afford it anyway after the accidental booking of ibiza :oops: :lol: )

Sunday: Who knows. Hopefully a nice day of shopping for ibiza clothes :D but if I'm bad and go to the toilet then I doubt that will happen... :lol:

really? I've never been ever ever. Guess I never see the line ups :?

Ah well, shall go to nude anyway because it's bound to be good if they keep the ministry plebs out by having it in shoreditch :lol:

it was just a really random night, they had a live funky french band and djs.... only been a few times i used to live really close. might be tempted for the sat night , not been to a nude night whats the lineup/music like?

music is electro/techy stuff. Smokin jo, mazzy supastar, luciano esse, then room 2 is some random stuff which I have no idea what it is.

But the real fun comes with the performances throughout the night from shoreditch trannies, if they actually have any this time (nude at ministry last time wasn't a patch on the time I went before that, I didn't see any performances at all! :roll: )

Fri - Going to see a play with the score penned by Nitin Sawhney at Sadlers Wells. Friend has invited me so should be a nice cultural eve

Sat - Going to catch an early eve performance of 300 with a couple of pals and then going to Nodisko at Herbal to see Claudio Coccoluto, which I am uber excited about :lol: :lol:

Sun - Start painting my flat. Am clueless. I know it sounds simple but would like some advice. Done a bit of web research so should be ok 8O . May start a seperate post

right here we go. i am not a decorator ha ha but my ex bf was a builder so i got all the pro tips i think lol!

its all in the preparation. two thirds of the time should be spent preparing the surfaces (wash down walls with sugar soap, lightly sand the woodwork to rpvide a key for the gloss etc) filling cracks with filler and sanding the filler etc etc

paint coving if you have it first, (you can go over the edges onto the ceiling and walls as you are painting them after

then paint the ceiling "cutting in" the edges with a brush before you paint the middle. use a roller on a long pole

then cut in the corners of the room , below the coving and above the skirtings with a brush and roller the walls

finally do the woodwork.

and make sure you hoover/clean up all the dust before you start painting !!!

job done

oh and do it in daylight or you will miss bits!

might dress bf up as shoreditch tranny and bring him along for the entertainment value then!!!
 
Friday: Bottle of wine and a take away.

Saturday: Wedding dress shopping and popping to see potential reception venue.

Sunday: More wedding dresses, different shop :lol:

Friday - Been invited to a birthday party so we'll see how that goes. Later one, 10 years of Subliminal with Erick Morillo @ club Rai :D

Saturday - Some football in the afternoon. Invited to not 1 but 2 birthday parties, one in the evening and the other later on :!: The 2nd is a performance by the birthday boy's band, so a bit of live music in there.

Sunday - Relax
