Last time I saw Rennie Pilgrim (and this is going back years), he was playing drun n bass and breaks. He was rubbish, he mixed an early Renaissance mix CD (with Ian Ossia) and the Rennie Pilgrim mix is quite probably the worse mix-CD I've ever heard in my life

Unless he's changed his style drastically I'd pass on him

OK... sounds like I'll give Rennie a miss.. not a big fan of the club where he's playing anyway.

In other news, I've just been informed that my evening with Little Loiue Vega will be preceeded by an outing with my co-workers to..... karaoke

My weekend, gonna see Brokeback Mountain i think but apart from that no plans as yet but this weekend and 1 more left until pay day and end of healthy month!

Your weekend sounds fabulour Babs! I'm very jealous... I definately want to go to Barcelona this year, that restaurant - WOW! I'm not sure whether I'd be able to go up it though, it looks very high up!

My weekend is pretty boring as I'm sooooooooo skint

Friday - nothing planned, probably cook a nice meal and watch BB eviction

Saturday - spring cleaning in the day, then going round a friend's in the evening for takeaway and drinks.

Sunday - driving home for me Mum's roast

Have you got a special karaoke party piece Morbyd

There's a couple of Russian songs that I usually do when dragged to these events (happens 2-3 times a year... the girls in our department really like their karaoke ). I know the words to those songs, so it makes it easier as quickly reading Cyrillic can be a bit rough. Unfortunately, the English-language songs they have are usually far too cheesy to consider.

Must say the missus and I did a very respectable crowd-pleasing rendition of Duran Duran's "Come Undone" during a karaoke party in London last year.

I went up Ben Nevis in a cable car didn't I It was actually quite fun when you get over the initial shock of being so far above the ground! I never really trust them things though I always feel it'll be just my luck and it'll snap

I am saving myself... I'm going to have so much pent up energy that I am going explode big stylee at your birthday party

Minx levels are going to be thru the roof come next wkend I think even my sis and her b/friend are coming down for it now, the whole family will be out in force

Saturday - family gathering in Brighton for my niece's 2nd birthday (she shares her birthday with Babs, wonder what that means for her future )
Sunday - with the family in Kent for my dad's 50-something birthday

BORED of January now, roll on next weekend for the full-on retox!

what you mean the thought of going up to montjuic in a rickety old cart along a piece of string doesn't appeal?

Completely skint already this month, and feeling awful still from last weekend...major comedown. Was loving how I felt last week after staying in, so much energy and so happy. So:

Fri: Working till half ten, so quiet night in

Sat: Working all day, then a date at night8)

Sun: Meet up with mates for lunch

Happy birthday Barbie

Thursday: At nigth is one of my favourite nigths of the year. I am going to Sa revetla de Sant Sebastià in Palma ( sadly I couldn't go to San Antonio), they do fires in nearly all the streets that are called Foguerons and people grill butifarrons, sobrassada, xua , chops etc and eat them with Majorcan bread in the street with lots of wine, after the Council organize concerts all over the city centre, in each square there is one. Can waitt for this.
Friday: nigth out with the girlies, dinner and some pinchos restaurant and then going out till late.
Don't know how I will end up the rest of the weekend.

Its nothing for me this weekend (again) Theres a chance of Serious at Turnmills on saturday.

Ive seen Rennie Pilgrem once, he played breaks all night. He was ok, if you like breaks. Im sure Mr Mark Sun will be able to tell you more about him.
