Weekend Plans

A roller coaster that i used to work on sometimes at the fun fair i worked at when i was a nipper got moved to Brighton pier a few years ago....they had to rename it though as jewish groups objected to the name it had when it was moved down........The ZYKLON 8O It was a dodgy piece of kit though...i nearly fell off it many a time while trying to ride it standing up/hanging on/looking cool etc when doing morning test runs

I was a Carney i'll have you know ;) All Carneys hated pikeys and regularly went down to their permenant camp up the road for a ruck

Hell, I don't know.

Friday - birthday party at restaurant/club Petrovich, home of the cheesy 1980s Soviet disco party

Saturday - Probably a lazy afternnoon, then either Bobby & Steve @ Club XIII or Grace Jones @ Club L'eto.

Sunday - recovery, grocery shopping... the usual.

Fri - quiet one

Sat & Sun

T IN THE PARK

some cool bands
some cracking techno in the Slam tent
some dodgy beer as its a sponsored event :?

Friday: Our friends are back from new zealand (Yay) and are staying with us so either out for dinner and drinks or stay home and get pissed with a DVD

Sat: Into Sydney for a major session!!.....it's been a while and i really need a night out!! (especially after reading every1's adventures in ibiza)

Sunday: Depending on our adventures on saturday possibly a club in the morning or back home to carry on the party til we collapse!!

Yay 4 weekends :D :D :D :D :D

Sorry about the timing of this, but do any people (specially London folk) think their weekend plans will differ because of todays events??

and should they?

:?:

I wouldn't be surprised if the UK based DJs I expected to see tomorrow and Saturday nights don't show up.

Talking from experience, you would probably feel weird drinking a mojito on a friday evening after the shock

Fair point. To be honest, if I feel like this on saturday, i definitely wont be up for going out, but then as a work mate told me I shouldnt let these twats dictate what or where I go..

But theres the issue of transport being down and plus will Morillo even fly to London this weekend after today??? :?

Sorry guys, I'm gonna answer Ferd in spanish cos it' easier to me.

I can't even think and don't want to think about the wkend at the moment :?

Who knows what is going to happen over the next 48 hours??

On one hand it feels wrong to be out partying as normal when so many people have lost their lives but then on the other hand, as Ferd says, if we change our lifestyles then these bastards will have won.

Who knows what will be the reaction? See Madrid, after the bombings (thursday) on saturday most people spent the day and night asking for responsabilities and explanations.
Best think is not planning anything and wait and see

Exactly, so little has been confirmed to us at the moment that nobody can know what the horrible outcome of this is all going to be and our reactions.

I've checked in with most of my friends and colleagues in the UK and everyone's OK.

Plus I've had a really rough week at work.

So, I'll probably go out tomorrow night (actually, I have to, because I'm to attend a friend's birthday celebration) but I know what the main topic of discussion will be.

See how you feel Rachel. One things for sure we can't let these bastards win and change the way we live our lives. I for one am going to get back on the underground at the first opportunity.
