I'm going to see Scottish folky James Yorkston do his thing at the Arches tonight.

Also got a g of plant food coming, but dunno if that would go with a folk gig. :lol:
 
Tonight - local for a few cheap beers
Tomorrow - cinema trip with the wife, maybe at the Trafford Centre and combine with shopping so I can get some brownie points before trip to Berlin next weekend (without wife)
Sunday - picking up leaves from garden (calm before the storm) and receive illegible text messages from mates at Fabric Birthday
 
sore throat, toothache, all plans cancelled for second night in row...

I felt better yesterday but still managed to oversleep and miss my test drive (the showroom was locked up when I got there :oops:

then went to a party in seven sisters on an industrial estate. dark scenes (the pink mud is ok, not had that before...) I played a few tunes which went down quite well esp. magnus international 'kosmetisk' which is a real group hug track. Strongly recommended when 'refreshed' people are in the mood to go 'aaaah' late on

I learned also that special k is a really UNWISE thing to consume whilst playing records. fk me! :eek:

the guys who followed were trully abominable - far superior to me technically, but total morons in their music selections. gestapo music.

I got home at 10am. too tired to do anything, too alert to sleep. = internet.

i was pissed off afterwards cos I was doing quite well and then everything blurred and got scary for a few minutes.
