Nice weekend - chilled on Sat whilst Phil went to Liverpool for the match, cooked and filled the freezer with healthy meals, shopped for Sunday lunch stuff.... came home and thought - FFS this is three weeks of domestication - made a phone call and suddenly Saturday night became a lot more fun that it was looking around lunchtime.....

Sun: long lie in, sunday papers whilst it P*****ed down and then made a huuuuuge Roast Beef Dinner..... too fat to make Public Enemy and definately lacking in sleep so gave my guesties away and instead watched crap TV then Cracker, but found it quite disappointing so went to bed to finish my book instead....

Fri - drinks then Reflex 80s club woo hoo love a bit of cheese now and then :p

Sat - out in town again for more drinks

Sun - went for drinks in London with a friend

Lovely time off, just never known 2 days to go so quick

Friday - Down to Liverpool, Drinks and a Indian.

Saturday - Went to a ''butterfly world'' then went to see ''world trade centre'' and then to Pizza hut.

Sunday - Round my mates to watch the video from Ibiza - few  moments and many  moments .. and they cooked a lovely Sunday dinner.

drank loads of ale

Mmmm. Shipped over by yourself, I'm guessing?

Fri: Drinks after work with colleagues. 'A couple' turned into loads of cocktails and several hours of drinking. Oh dear. Good fun though.

Sat: Tidied entire flat (fun with a hangover) for two friends and a doggy who were coming over to watch City claim a jammy draw against Everton. Missed Barton's blue moon, sadly. Headed over to my folks in Edinburgh to be pampered.

Sun: Went to the Ron Mueck exhibition which was excellent. Tried to look at rings bit jewellers was shut, so went to a divine chocolate cafe with my Mum and fiancee. Naughty, but oh so nice. Headed back to Glasgow and met a friend who was up from London in an old mans' pub, so had a couple of pints of IPA and a wee nip of Orkney's finest.

Fri: Quiet night in watching tv

Sat: Quiet night in watching tv

Sun: Quiet night in watching tv

Mr Scoobie's Stag Party. - Great fun go-karting, walthamstow dogs and the rhythm factory to fininsh. :) :)

Finally get round to this...

Fri - Went to the 'factory' as planned and indulged a wee tiny bit

Sat - Got up feeling great and ready for anything. All my friends arrived by 5pm and got the pizzas delivered. Pre club drinks at mine before getting a cab to Liquid room. Got there at 11.20 to the biggest que I have ever seen at the club 8O  Daft doormen were lettin in those without tickets in before those with tickets  :spank: Got inside the club and it was just too rammed for comfort. After 45 mins on the the packed dance floor we go outside for a smoke after being pushed and shoved around the floor and having a near miss from a glass bottle from the upper level  Outside terrace was just as rammed and too funking hot with patio heaters:!: Left the club early as we were all pissed off and we did not see any of Steve Angello set  and the afters at mine started well in advance of planned

Sun - Afternoon lunch at City Cafe then we all went on a much needed booze cruise round many of Edinburgh's drinking establishments before getting home just in time to get a kebab from the local takeaway

Mon - Day off cleaning the flat, shopping and watching TV;)

Despite the crap club action a good weekend with great company

Ah, memories. Do they still serve absinthe?

Probably

As soon as we went in on Sunday went up to the bar and said '5 magners please' the bar man replied 'Sorry we don't serve alcohol till 1230pm' looked at the time and it was only 11.10am

Had to have coke and a few games of pool till drinking time.

Love the place, the relaxed atmosphere and the food is ace 8)

how did you miss that one jon?8O

(hello btw!;) :D)

trust me this will be my new thing, the 1994 genocide is soooo last week. My next book shop visit I will purchase all the back ground about it...

I knew there was a conspiracy, but not in that degree:)

if you are interested jon the main guy in the film, jim garrison (played by kevin costner) wrote a book called 'On the Trail of the Assassins', which was kind of what the film was based on.

Its a fairly average read tbh but I loved it at the time when I was in full-on conspiracy mode after watching the film.
