Websites that show London Cinema Listings

Is there such a thing :?

I promised Tom a visit this wkend to keep us out of mischief to see This is England but it doesn't appear to be on at any of the cinemas near us, is there a website which will show me which cinemas it is on??

Try the free evening papers. They're always (I think) in there.

I know it's the kind of thing that should be online, though when I tried once, I nearly cried the websites were such a pain to use.:spank:
 
It was actually said on Radio One that This is England is not being shown at many cinemas. Some woman drove 19 miles to see it apparantly.

So that might be why you havent found it.

When we saw it in good old Essex it was only on once 2 days a week (thurs and sun)

I was hoping it was going to be on at the Ealing Broadway cinema cos it's 5 mins walk from where we live but looking at the list where it's on I can't even find it on anywhere in West London at all :roll:

First time in about 3 years I've actually wanted to see a film as well :roll:

It's worth watching if purely to admire the style and accuracy of the time that it was supopsed to be depicting. Moreso as it did it seemingly without cliche or overuesed stereotype. The dialogues good, and there's no arty-farty camera work or tricks. It's a good, honest, british flick.

The little boy is amazing in it aswell (the rest of the cast don't let themselves down either).

Though the story does end up with a predictable finish, and (especially) after the first half it's all a bit (too) brutal, especially as I really am abhored by the theme of the latter half of it, and almost kind of stops it being entertaining, a bit like some of the scenes in Scum put you off.

Defo worth a watch though.
