It's not necessarily drag & drop but it's really easy to work with. If you use the "design view" you just work on the page almost like you would in a word processor and it does all the coding for you.
You can also turn on a split-screen mode so that you can see how changes you make in the design impact the code. Once you get a better understanding of the code, you can get fancier with what you do.
i designed a pukka site in swish but coukdbnt see an option to link to other page
was gunan design individual pages for the site but obviousley i have to link them all together .
Is it easy to do this in dreamweaver and could even a novie like me just pick it up and create a site dont want to spend ££££ on it then find out i cant use it like photoshop which i found difficult to understand
It's easy to use but you still need to know your way around the computer to get the hang of it.
It's very easy to make links. You just highlight the text or picture that you want to make into a link and then select "hyperlink" from the "insert" menu and put in the name of the page you want to link to.
Use Dreamweaver 8, if you have a basic knowledge of how HTML, CSS and FTP work then with the help of the tutorials you'll be able to complete your site within the 30 day free trial period they give you!
i dont really undestand the frames stuff i just want to copy and paste the images etc i want but this program wont let me do ti i know what i want it to look like and i dont want to have to design banners etc when i already have them
