We Love Sundays?

Are the lineups not a tad late this year? As it's very close to opening time and all that we have is info from DJ's Myspace etc. Anyone know when the official lineups are out?

WLS line-ups are always late  One year it got to June and they still hadn't been announced, I was half expecting to turn up @ Opening and still not having a clue who was going to be playing :spank:

I think it used to be cos Darren Hughes liked to get Homelands done and then they were announced but he hasn't even got that excuse these days.

Having as many on the calendar this year as we do is amazing!

Not the most upfront in providing info

I'm sure that one year their website launched about 3 weeks into the season

The released half of the line-up before they started last year and drip fed the rest.

Was always due to Homelands. However they had already announced at this stage last year.

I think one is due in the next few days.

Looking at various myspaces etc, we can see the main headliners are Tiefschwarz, Fanciulli, Woolford, Zabiela, DJ Hell. Ivan Smagghe booked for a few dates and Jeff Mills and probably Felx are likely to be there again. Then the other residents like Dan Ghenacia, Serge Santiago, Smokin Jo and the locals.

I just wonder who will replace Groove Armada and 2 Many DJs, as both of whom are touring over the summer and may not be on the bill this year???

Will Hughes be booking Oakie I wonder?!!

All i know is that he better have some amazing dj's under his belt for the wls opening. obv untill midnight the outside terrace will be the place to be but urrmmm well apart from that there is f all.....

Still the opening is going to be about EVERYONE being there 8)

I cant wait for the opening. Its frustrating not knowing who'll be playing yet but i'm sure there'll be a few rabbits pulled out of the hat!

I just hope they dont blow their budget on oakie - he's long past his best!

seems like they are resting on their laurels. the lineups have been getting progressively worse over the last few years to the point that i wouldn't be surprised if we just get residents and B-grade DJ's this year. The residents are good, but i don't go to ibiza to listen to jon ulysses and david moreno etc.

with people like Deep Dish, Hell, Steve Lawler and Danny Howells already on the roster IMO its looking like a better line-up already for We Love...

I agree young man :D I think We Love....guests have got better and better every year since it changed from Home - the only thing that has gone downhill are some of the residents but that's just imo cos I don't rate Woolford, Fancuilli etc.

Im well gutted Im gonna miss WLS Closing :(

Think Im gonna make a contingency plan to stay on for a few days if the urge takes me. Depends how my get-rich-quick-get-out-of-debt gambling idea pans out over the summer.

I have to say the opening line-up doesnt seem that impressive to me :?

Groove Armada Dj Set, Gigolo Records presents: HELL, Tiefschwarz, The Presets, Riton, Serge Santiago, Tom Novy, Henrik B, Jason Bye, David Phillips, Elio Riso, Jonathan Ulysses, Juan Gomez, DJ Miki, Dj Oliver.
8am – Miday Vitalik Feat: Ryan O’Gorman, Luciano Esse, Manu L; Red Box/Caja Roja: Chew the Fat with Paul ‘trouble’ Arnold, Jem Precision Cuts, Hook and Sling, El Salon, Alfredo, Jamie Fiorito, Premier Etage Scott Martin, Susso, Reche.

What is HELL like? Any good?

Looking at the line-up, and as I dont like Groove Armada too much, its all about Serge Santiago, Tiefschwarz, Henrik b and ofcourse DJ Oliver! 8)

He's amazing.

All in all, I think that line-up sounds really good to me, some classic/stereotypical Ibiza DJs (Ulysses, Novy, Oliver, Tiefschwarz) as well as some names representing a more recent sound (Presets, Riton...).
