Waterproof mascara

Apologies for another girlie thread!

What's the best waterproof mascara around? Can't seem to find one that looks good (long lashes) but without clumping that actually stays on through swimming and clubbing.

Just bought the Loreal Shocking one which was, quite frankly, shocking.

I use the Rimmel one - just brought it out in waterproof...

its the one where you put the white coat on first to thicken the eyelashes - looks a bit OTT for day wear but hey, I like that sort of thing....

Nice one, does it stay put? I like the OTT look too!

I bought the Clinique one this summer, applied it once and it was so crap I had to use my usual non-waterproof one! Hardly anything came onto my lashes- it the wand was practically dry - it was nothing like the woman described it would be in the store - am tempted to take it back to her

I swear by Lancome mascaras, been using them for years - I should have stuck to what I know ;)

What about have them dyed? My Aunt always does this before she goes on holiday

I've got dark eyelashes anyway, I just like them to be long and thick (but minus the spider look!)

Well I have crap short eyelashes, and I did toy with the idea of having the little eyelash extensions put on but at a £1 each the woman told me I would need at least 40 on each eye so I thought sod that..... then went and spent pretty much the same amount over 3 months buying mascaras!!8O 8O

Anyway, I digress...... Yes it stays put, yes it looks OTT, yes it can look like overweight spiders legs on your eyes, however, I worked out that if you use the white bit then leave it for 5 mins, then add the black (*after scraping most of the gunk off on the side of the tube then they do in deed look pretty spectacular, for a night time effect, leave the one coat of black for about another 5 mins then repeat the black process again....

I walked downstairs with my eyes done and Phil went "WHOA!!! You could go out with no top on and nobody would notice with eyes like that!!!" - so I thought job done!!!!!

There is a great japanese brand called "kiss me". it isn't waterproof, but it 'tubes' your lashes, so it doesn't smear or leave marks, kind of comes off in 'tubes..

I know here i can get it at a specialty make up place here... or when i was in japan... I love this stuff!! :) :)
