Or is anyone else a bit disappointed that Liverpool got through to the final? I mean dont get me wrong , I will, be behind them all the way in 3 weeks time, but I cant help feelin that Chelsea would have been better equipped to beat Milan?? And therefore bring home the booty!!! Well done lads, you defended like an Italian team and stopped the blue onslaught, although it wasnt a goal, was it a Russian linesman by any chance??

However, I doubt that they have the necessary firepower to break through the Milan back line, whilst at the same time preventing them from scoring.

having said that, id rather have anyone in the final than Man U Scum!!!!
 
Despite wishing it was Chelsea in the final, I think Liver will do fine. They put 2 past Juventus and held them to only 1 goal, and they held Chelsea scoreless over 2 matches, so they've shown they have the defensive organization to hold on... if they keep it up.

I haven't written off PSV entirely, by the way. I thought they were the better side and just a bit unlucky in Milan. How many shots on goal did they have saved or narrowly miss?

No doubting that Liverpool have the abilty to shut up shop, however I think they do lack a bit of firepower, we shall see, with 2 teams as defensively capable as Milan & Liverpool, makes for a final as excting as 2003 Milan vs Juve....yawn!!!!!!!!
 
Bearing in mind that Man City have beaten both Liverpool & Chelsea this season, does that mean we are better than them, ie one of Europes best teams?? :D

i only go to games when i know we're gonna win.

used to go nearly every homegame couple yrs ago.

its the cost of it all plus time it eats up.

WHL aint the easiest place to go home from... esp in mid-winter and the Railways decide to have maintence works on a matchday...

WHL rail - too packed(and dangerous, plus any train that goes there is only 4 carraiges). parkings pointless cos u gotta get there early to find a space at risk of being clamped/vandelised.

theres a frigging Victoria line depot at Northumberland park (5 mins walk), and all they need to do is construct some platforms but London Transport/council (labour one at that) wont budge. theres also a Rail station on the main Cambridge-liverpool st line, but no trains get told to stop there, even if theyre funking empty. hence why we wanna leave WHL.
