not really. these figures are total passenger arrivals and departures and as most folk fly in and then out again, you have to divide by two to get the number of visitors.
so about 1.5 million air passengers and about .5 million boat passengers gives about the 2 million ish people who holiday here every year.
figures have fallen again this year, british numbers are down again, spanish slightly up, italians slightly up.
the problem with spanish and italian visitors is that they mostly all want to come in august so that the season is further concentrated into the two main months whilst the british and germans who opened and closed ibiza's season are not coming anymore.
you can't really give an opinion on how good the season was just by looking at a packed august island.
