my american friend bought them (she's also got a chi hua hua and is obsessed with dior, so you can imagine the kind of girl she is

I recorded both sets on a weekend at MOS and Turnmills. The same tunes in roughly the same order (you may not realise that with a CD release you have to have permission for every track so there is no freedom in what you play) after being asked on FRIDAY (yes friday) to have a mix by Monday. I travel too much so it had to be live (besides I always do them live to avoid cheating, 99.9% of al recorded mixes are done on computer) SO recorded MOS and as an afterthought recorded Turnmills too. I dinno why I was uncharacteristically cautious. I just about managed to ask for it to be recorded before I stumbled into the booth at 8am.
Oh yes, the short notice I got also explains why so many of my mate's records are on there... it was much quicker to arrange clearance.
Of course on Monday MOS decided they didn't want to be involved in a free CD as it might affect their sales. "Sales of WHAT?!" I hear you cry. I have no releases coming out on MOS.
So luckily for everyone the Turnmills session was there, if not a little ropey...but a true picture nontheless.
