Hola!_____ Pep selled some pics to a photo catalogue and we need to tag them in english. The problem is that I don't know the name in english of that thing (not the bird, the thing in first line) Any help or suggestion will be much apreciated :D_____________ I still have problems with my work computer, the yellow men are on strike and I can't upload pics, so I just post the direct link. http://farm1.static.flickr.com/56/153706426_219dedb8e3.jpg

oh sorry it's not, it looks like one of those viewing things that you pay to use.

What is the name for those?

And Manhattan, I also tagged it with Manhattan :lol:Any other suggestion? What words come to mind when you see that pic, doesn't matter if it's too lateral ;)

"observation point" is probably what it's called on maps or "viewing point".

why do you tag it, is it so if people search for "insert coin binocular glass retro sky newyork dove urban red harbour ", then pep's photo will come up.

I'll add observation too. How would people find the picture if it's not tagged?

but who is looking for them?

If you're in marketing/advertising you 'buy' the rights to use images, what I assume Pep is doing is putting his images on a site like Getty Images, then people like me come along looking for a particular image and put 'binocular' in this is one of the images that would come up.

Is that right Sil??

why don't you just use the image and not pay for it, all you'd need to do is chop off the bit that says gettyimages TM and then you're away!;)

try to use a 500x300 image for an advert and you'll have a pretty pixeled image. Most photocatalogues have spies around looking for pictures thieves
