Virgin Atlantic - British Airways

I'm looking flights to Japan and I've found a really good deal flying with Virgin Atlantic or, for few more euros, British Airways.
Which company it's supposed to be better. I've travelled with BA several times but just to London, and I don't know anyone who have travelled with Virgin...

Any feedback would be much appreciated

We've travelled with Virgin a few times and have been really pleased with them. Lucky you going to Japan 8)

I prefer BA, but only because it's less garish in it's choice of interior decoration

Both BA and virgin are highly competitive with each other, so their service will be very comparable
