VIP areas in clubs... anyone blagged/bought their way in?

The trouble is, as soon as someone tells me I can't go there, then i immediately want to go there :twisted: . Went to Ibiza for the first time 2 years ago and managed to get into the vip bit in amnesia by slipping the bouncers 10E and a sob story... only to find that where we were was more like a waiting area for hangers on and that you had to buy a bottle of champers or something to get a good seat :? . About to go back and just wondered what other people's experiences are, particularly in es paradis or privilige or anywhere else? Not got a lot of cash to splash, but maybe would be prepared to part with some if the experience was worth it.... :) . Cheers everyone, would love to hear about your experiences & recommendations xxx
 
judging by the people ive seen in pacha vip areas etc youd need to pay me to sit in with people like that, but remember if you do get in to one, take a crowbar with you and at least help them wrench their heads out of their own arses :p
 
you could have a point mate! Nonethless, I'm always curious to see what's inside + it's good to have somewhere to go and have a breather when the crowds get a bit much!!
 
I really, really dont get the VIP thing.

Fair one, if you want to waste a fortune, and sit down (erm, you're in a club?) then do it, spend the thousand euros or whatever and sit with a bunch of preening wannabe's, and watch the people in economy class have all the fun.

Why do you want to go in?!?
 
I agree. Unless it was soemthing like Access All Areas at Amnesia or something, but you'd be doing well to get one of those tickets.

VIP areas in nightclubs suck!
 
ok... i'm getting the distinct impression it's not worth it then, perhaps I'll just have to supress my curiousity (it did kill the cat after all!) and stick with the tried and tested... unless anyone else can tell me any different?

BTW, what is access all areas at amnesia and whats so different about it?

i disagree. some of the VIPs in some of the clubs are crap and pointless and full of the types already described here......................BUT

amnesia VIP (the basic one, not the VVIP or VVVIP or the caves or AAA) is actually really good for people watching, having someone to sit down, getting to chat to the odd DJ/promoter/industry bod if you're lucky and anyway, its come and go as you please so being in the VIP in no way means you have to stay there all night. of course, if you wanna go mad on the dancefloor go for it.

@ pussycat - presuming you know what amnesia is like. AAA at amensia means you can stand up by the DJ booth and also by where the dancers dance (by the ice cannon). both of which overlook the main dancefloor, its quite a sight!!:D 8) 8)
 
cheers for that grego, its good to hear another opinion. the perfect night out for me combines people watching, a bit of a natter with whoever's about & friendly enough to chatter back, and plenty of going mad on the dancelfoor too! i'm not sure which bit it was we were in when we went to amnesia but we got to do all of these. any advice on getting into other areas or is it just a case of splashing out on drinks?
 
I know girls that have blagged their way in by dancing close to groups of guys in the VIP and giving them sexy glances :lol: :roll:

They then get invited in and just have to avoid the obligatory 'do you want to come back to my villa for a party ladies' because there is no way in hell they're going to have sex with these men :lol:

Grego can teach you a good bum wiggle dance if you want to perfect your sexy moves ;)

kinda, just be flirty/friendly/loud around people who seem to be in the know or hold the key to the door, gaining access to a VIP area is only as difficult as knowing either the bouncer or the person doing running the guestlist, both are normally not that high up the food chain.

if amnesia still do button pop VIP wristbands, you can take them off and share them.

there are however some things/places money can't buy you access to.:twisted: :twisted: ;)

i got into the VIP @ Pacha on a perfecto night a few years back......was kind of cool..waitress service, reserved table for you to back and chill to for a bit.

spent a fortune mind you but was worth it had a top night.

not sure how i managed to get in there was a tad spangled and just walked in with a group of other people
 
Managed to get into ElDivino Vip last year... It was ok because its soo close to the dancefloor but you have your own space to go crazy!!
Cos its such a small club its ok, in the bigger ones i'd say its a bit of a waste.. but hey, its worth a go!!

can anyone go into deal about the levels of VIP and the caves and what is AAA.
 
yeah 2 years ago @ cream... i went to the guy that stamps ur hand for VIP and told him that my stamp wore off so he restamped my hand and to the VIP i went :twisted:

i didn't know cream did stamps for VIPs. they have always normally done wristbands (altho i admit i've not been for a few years).

Amnesia has a VIP, then within this there is another VIP (the VVIP if you will), then beyond that there is another VIP and this is where it all gets a bit blurred and i can't remember......:oops: :twisted: :twisted: what happens in the caves stays in the caves!!:twisted:

AAA just allows you access to everywhere including where the ice cannon is and dancers dance and the dj box area, and also the dancer's changing rooms.8O 8O :lol:
 
you can't get one.there is no way of getting or buying one.you just have to know someone(the promoters or the djs) or else you have to be in the business.;)
