When do the prices/availability for these tend to get released for the following year?

I am already looking to book for next year and there is some availability out there

They probably rely on all the airlines to release their full summer schedules first which should be through November

I am aiming for the Tarba in San An and they have their rates out for next year if that hotel is any good for you

I've booked flights (end July)but finding accommodation that suits is proving a real task

villas: http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/villas/villas-next-year (more to come of course)

apartments: http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/hotel-guide/apartments.htm (just put in the dates you need and a good few options will show up already with more to come soon too)

I think this was my original question, do they just randomly go on there. Im a bit of a planner and also like things just so but within budget and theres not much about.

they are very nice villas you do on here, but not cheap. Im not sharing the cost with another family/couple so it bumps it up a lot. Ive really only got a max 2k budget for 8 nights, could push to a bit more if it was worth it?

they go online as we get rates from villa owners and/or apartment management...I'd simply have one weekly look and check if anything new is on there that might suit your needs.

Booked flying solo:eek:..not really 15-20 other paddies and 2 local legend djs for mates 40th:cool: in May. Bar sorted for party on Saturday and the lads can play all evening so
least we know that the music will be good. Come and say hi..things might get messy:twisted:.

Diver are long to Clockwork Orange next year hence July ?

Yeah man, it appears that I've inadvertantly booked from 29/07 to 06/08, not on purpose m'lord!!!

I'm struggling too. I've seen the flights I want but haven't booked yet as can't find accommodation in budget. Don't know what to do?!

Hiya sweet, hows it going'?

I always book flights first then worry about accom later on. This is the worst year (2017) that I have seen it for choice within budget. Don't really want to go over more than around 2k for 8 nights for something 3 bedrooms. Cala Tarida area seems the best value or around Marina Botafoch??
I pmsl at an airbnb quote that I had recently for a place overlooking Cala Vadella. She had a book now for approx 1700 euros but I thought I better message her first. She got back to me the other day and the price was now 3800 euros, so I told her to smoke it.

Hello, going OK thanks :)
I took your advice and booked the flights. End of may for 9 days! Bringing the kids to convince them moving to ibiza is a good idea :)

Yes I've seen some near cala tarida and also near pacha. I want to try and make it as realistic as possible but still getting a nice place for a holiday. Don't want the kids thinking they'd get to live in a fancy villa when we move there!

Some of the prices are ridiculous! They need telling! But if some are willing to pay then there will always be chancers. It's like that in Bristol too. House prices are crazy! World's gone mad (and greedy)

Some of the ones on the Marina are very modern and its close to Talamanca and Ibz Town obviously.

Ive managed to book somewhere now through airbnb, its right in the middle of Cala Nova and Cala Lleyna. Its an apartment in a block with a nice roof terrace. Feel I can chill a bit now its all sorted, hope you find somewhere suitable.

stayed in a really nice privately owned / rented apartment in cala Tarida. In the block thats the other side of the street behind the beach. was done up to a really high standard and felt like a propper apartment you might get in a city etc

Thanks :-) Are you going with family? I'm struggling as I worry about being high up with the kids and also about the pool. My 3 year old is a climber and a runner so it has to be relatively secure. He's about to start swimming lessons though so hopefully by next may he'll have basic swimming skills. My oldest 2 will want a pool so can't not get one!

I trawled airbnb might have to have another look

I genuinely believe a lot of people would be put off airbnb etc. if they knew how it was contributing to the housing crisis on the island. I know i wouldn't go with an airbnb or similar holiday let again for this reason alone. Unfortunately i also think there would be plenty people to step in to take the booking who wouldn't give a shit.

Ive used airbnb for one of my 2017 trips, is that bad? (genuine question)
