I didn't realize how unnaturally short your arms are

Hmm... I wonder if I should start this gym stuff sometime. I've always wanted one of those six-pack thingies

I have lost 2 stone and 4lb in 10weeks. Very pleased with myself all thanks to gym and Weight Watchers.................

Damn that's what.. 14 kilos? Amazing! Sounds like you put a lot of effort into it. Well done.

My company just paid for half of a gym membership for anyone who wanted to join. I was the one who was stuck asking the bosses to approve the plan on behalf of the other employees, and it was my p.a. that spearheaded the project of signing everyone up so I heard about it constantly. Even with all that I couldn't convince myself to join  :?

if you're not convinced you'll go now, you'll never go. the only way is to get a personal trainer every week or two to force yourself to go... which obviously is expensive (but probably better value for money than paying whatever a month for nothing

lol thank you. i always was dead against the gym but i love this one as its for women only and is more like circuit training.

I pay €68 a month in Ireland's leading chain of gyms http://www.jackieskellyfitness.com/ well pleased i joined up as well for minimum of 12 months, i don't need to loose weight i just lift weights already the results are apparent, plus there's a jacuzzi which i always use, swimming pool and sauna as well as fully equipped gym, since im currently out of work i can go a lot more, im going this afternoon.

That's dedication - well done you - you must be so pleased with yourself....

I too hate gyms - but I go to Pilates after work (class taken in one of our meeting rooms by an instructor) and have done for the past 10 weeks and I can honestly say I really like it - I have lost 1.5" off my waist and I am a lot more toned that I was before Easter....

Thank you i am soooooooo chuffed with myself just another stone to go. Would love to try pilates.

can we have some before and after pics please? And a 'daily diet' before and after like they do in the trashy girlie mags?! :D

I meant to loose 1/2 stone before ibiza but my weight has not budged since christmas, despite regular 10K runs and bodypump classes. I give up!

Its great - I thought it looked a little bit "old womany exercise" to be honest, but its quite hard doing small movements really slowly and it takes time to make sure you are holding the right muscles in before you start the moves...... (I am convinced its lifted my t*ts too    )

I cant do squash or kick boxing anymore cos my joints are screwed so it works well for me..... I believe i will carry on with this after my holidays too - twice a week seems sufficient to make a difference, and a few excercises whilst watching the TV of a night as well....

I bought myself an exercise bike this year which has been great in helping me lose weight. I usually can't find the time for exercise mainly because I'm a lazy arsed telly addict so this is perfect, I just plonk it front of the telly & peddle away for an hour or so!!
4lbs to go to reach my target. And 12 weeks to go til Ibiza so I should be able to manage it!
