I'm thinking of holding a day/night in barcelona in june, has anyone done anything simular?
Can anyone recomend any bars/venues in the city, or give advice in general?
I'm finding it difficult to get any replys from people out there....
I can't understand why its so difficult, I know for a fact if I went to a small club/bar over here, and wanted to make a booking in mid-week, done all my own promotion, provided all my own music, and all the venue had to do is sit back and take the money at the bar, who wouldn't say no....?
I've emailed nearly every small bar/club/venue from the nightlife bcn site... about 25 in all, and not one has replyed, just makes no sense...
In deperation, I'm thinking of heading out there to go round in person..this of course is a last resort.
I've never had so much trouble trying to secure a venue, it's not like I'm trying to book space or pacha on a saturday...
Anyone can mail me a contact, will be very greatful....
I must do this, I have to, I cant sleep at night thinking 'bout it,
and of course....no glasto this year....
