Vara de Rey Hostel ?

Hi Guys

I have stayed in San An near the Strip the last few years but the hotel has shoved its prices up this time - can't really afford it anymore :(

Accordingly I have been checking arounf the web site and found a hostel on Vara de Rey.

Its one of my fave streets on Ibiza and I'm interested in staying there.

Anyone any views on the quality of the place as unfortunatley there are no review on the actual site.
 
I was there in 2000 for one week. rooms are quite basic without own shower / toilet. but it was clean and cosy and the location is superb. I still wouldn't go there again bcos I need my own shower and toilet :) oh and no air-con or fridge.

luis, the owner, is nice guy and beware of his HUUUGE dog ;)

I stayed there in August of 2003. It was a GREAT location, like 5 minute walk from the main bus station or the port, and the owner was really helpful and friendly. When i was there the room actually did have a bit of airconditioning, if you left your window closed it was actually cooler. Yes you have to share bathroom and shower, but it was always available. Definitely not a bad place, I'm not staying there again tho because I want to be closer to the beach :)
