Valentines day restaurants

Amen!

Erin and I are out for our V day dinner this Sat. Fight the power!

I've just been chatting to your lovely ladieeee and she says you're going to Kew Grill - excellent choice :D Lovely and cosy inside and the food is fab, we would go more often but they only have about 2 fish dishes and 1 veggie dish - I don't think AWT likes veggies

Well thats your fault for not eating real food!

The thought of Valentines day at a restaurant makes me want to gauge my eyeballs out with a spoon.
I always cook for my lovely husband, far more romantic and personal (unless your a **** cook)
Not decided what to cook yet, although I'll be making a wild mushroom and truffle soup for starter.

I agree with the logic that is generally expressed in this post - I suggested to my bloke that we could cook a special meal on the day then go out after the event. My man, who is a sweetie, insisted on booking a top Manchester restaurant on the day. It was the same last year (and no the service wasn't bad, and the menu was yum - but dear). I'm not complaining though, it is his treat after all.:)
