Anything would be better than sitting in an office in dull, rainy London to be honest ;)

Am I the only person in the world that loves London whatever the weather?
(Note to self: yes)

Anything interesting?

Going with my mum/family to have morning tea with and accept her new year honour from the Queen at Buckers. Then lunch at the Ivy......then the main bit i'm interested in - shopping at Selfridges

we've had really strong winds all last night and all today. yesterday was the nicest day we've had all year, calm and sunny, and then this happens. my new lemon tree had every single leaf blown off it and i fished 3 chairs out of the pool this morning and even worse i'm not getting any signal from my satellite dish!

speaking of offices - i now have one at the rear of the house and i happened to take this photo of the view from the window yesterday
