Ushuaia "room policy"

If we have a standard room at Ushuaia club - is it allowed to take friends to the room? How do they check (do room owners have wristbands or is it possible to just hand over room key cards to each other)?

What about booz bought in supermarket? Allowed to bring?

Does the same policy apply to suites?

thanks! ;)

Just speaking for the rooms:

You get a wristband.
We only invited some friends who already got tickets into our garden. If they have ticket to the event it will be ok.
You can bring in boose from the supermarket before 16.00.

This was the 2012 season tho...

Hehe ;) No you might be able to get it in after that in some way, but not in two shoppingbags full of it :) They have CONTROL men at all doors.
This is only the days with a party as far as i know. There was never a problem to shop before 16.00 for us :)

can anyone confirm this for 2013?

Can confirm that this was the case for Used & Abused last week. If you remain with a "guest" with a red wristband (personally prefer the ones from last year) then you can pretty much go anywhere IF you have a party wrist band i.e. you paid to get into the party.

I went to both a garden room and also a room on the second floor. Security were fine both times. (And by fine you get a nod and a grunt to pass and the usual look that you get from Ushuaia security men and staff that really they just want to punch the living day lights out of you for having the nerve to come anywhere near Ushuaia!).

On "non-party" nights you have to be signed in by a guest at reception and get given a badge that you have to wear and will need to hand back before you leave. Obviously you don't pay for this...

the more I hear about Ushuaia the less it appeals to me!

I'm surprised it isn't a t-shirt with "THE VISITOR" emblazoned across the back ....

It's an acquired taste I guess ... one I doubt I'll ever acquire. Even with an unlimited budget, nothing would make me want to stay there. Everything about it jars with my value systems !
