Hi Guys, I'm new to the forum, but an Ibiza vet. I havent been over for a few years now and i see there are now loads more daytime/evening events. 2manyDJ's at Ushuaia looks good, but what time is best to get there ?

The door is 5pm, but thats a bit early (Probably going to Cream the night before), but wouldnt want to get there too late and miss any of the headline acts. I guess the point is starting the party while its still light, so does this mean the top acts are on early ??

Has anyone been to a Friday night ?
 
i would say 7pm is a perfect time to get in. if it's your first time to ushuaïa, this will enable you to explore the venue before it gets too busy. the main buzz (and the biggest queues) begins from about 8pm and the headliners normally start at around 9pm.
 
Thanks Nostrum, just what i was thinking.

What are the drinks prices like in there ? Not that it matters, once your on the island its best not to think too much about what your spending, but just wondered if its full on club pricing, as more likey to have a few drinks at an evening event compared to a proper club night.
 
normal club prices...so maybe have one or two pre-ush-drinks somewhere in playa d'en bossa? loads of cool bars everywhere now!
 
When i first went to Ibiza, it was still the peseta. Those were the days... Usually go the bars in the Town or San An Mambo/del Mar area, so might give playa d'en bossa a go

Definitely. 7pm is a nice time. 8pm starts to get a little bit busier.

And like nostrum said you need to explore the venue. It is like the amazon jungle full of surprise :)
 
Would agree with everyone saying 7pm is the perfect time to get in, get a few drinks and have a walk around. As for drinks prices, when I was there last year it was about 15euro a vodka/spirit (17 euro for a premium i.e. jack daniels/grey goose) Can't remember how much a beer was maybe around 10 euros? It was a token system last year, but read somewhere on here they are taking cash at the bar now as well
 
It was 15Euros for an Ibiza measure vodka redbull last Friday paying cash at the bar. Not the single measure for 18Euros they were palming off at their original Opening Party last year. This is pretty much the same as say KM5, Bora Bora, Nassau etc.

The beers are probably not the best deal - a bottle was 12Euros !
 
i went to Ushuaia for the Luciano night end of june...
this place is just a joke...:spank:
the crapiest sound system of the island,and a very impressive concentration of hookers and posers...If this place is the new ibiza style,my future in ibiza clubs is very short...

Thankfully still nowhere else comes close, Jimmiz ... on Sasha night there was a higher ratio of normal to poser than I saw at the original club opening... but I still didn't manage to 'get along' with the place sufficiently to last a night, and will probably never bother to return (more will follow on this soon !)
