Ushuaia & HRHotel

Hi - what is the relationship with Ushuaia & Hard Rock Hotel. Hard Rock has it's own hotel etc, but appears to be having a Hard Rock night at Ushuaia on Fridays. Does HR Hotel have an arrangement with Ushuaia to use it's stage and facilities on a Friday? I'm staying at Ushuaia later this year, but looking at the 2014 line, I'd be gutted if it was UB40 weekend!
 
No, i don't think so that ushauaia guests can join the HR Partys for free.
because HR Guests can't join ushuaia partys, too.
 
both hotels are run by the same company - palladium group. of course HRH is an own hotel chain, but palladium (the people behind ushuaïa) run the ibiza franchise.

HRH does events on fridays this summer. so far two of them are planned to happen on the ushuaïa stage instead of the hard rock hotel stage. the HRH stage isn't as big as the one at ushuaïa, which means they run the very popular ones over on the big stage. the programming of the events at ushuaïa and HRH is basically done by the same group of people.
 
Our group are planning to go to Ushuaia on the Friday for our weekend visit in September. The last thing we'd want and I'm many others would want it to find UB40 on stage (or alike)

Lucky for you they are next door at the HRHotel then!
 
ahh ok - confusing adverising on the Ushuaia website then. I look at events scheduled for Friday's this year and see all sorts listed. Any idea who will be on at Ushuaia on Friday's? in particular Sept 19th?

the fridays at ushuaïa are generally (with a very few exceptions) a night off - means no events.
only friday events listed for ushuaïa so far are jason derulo (25th july) and snoop dogg (15th august).

nightmare - i planned that bad then :(
 
interesting info - the first event at hard rock hotel (happening as we speak) is on until 2am, not midnight. and i've heard a rumour that ushuaïa now apparently has a permit to open until 2am twice a month. great for clubbers, not so great for the neighbours.

unreal - and pachagroup had to cancel destino-opening in the last minute ...
