Ushuaia acts 2015?

if there aren't any last minute changes, the ushuaïa week will look very similar to last summer.

No insider info here... I'd actually prefer it to move as I'm still not sold on Ushuaia and I'm huge fans of Nic & Joris.

Amazing venue aesthetically - the spectacle and production alone makes it stand out. Daytime partying with the planes landing going overhead. Brilliant. Just yet to have a really great party experience there. Though each time I've been has been silly busy.

Ushuaia left a little to be desired for me, I wish I could say specifically what it is I didn't like. It just seemed to lack heart.

I love being outside but the main stage was rammed, I like a busy club but moving through the crowds was more like rush hour tube than a club vibe and at the rear (Matron!) it lacked any real atmosphere.

Maybe it's a personal thing, I enjoy roaming about the rooms in Space and Pacha. Maybe I am just not a huge fan of facing and dancing towards a large stage in concert/fist pump fashion.

I mentioned in a previous post sometime ago (think it was the hot or not thread) about my serious disappointment with Ushuaia last year, unfortunately we chose to stay here thinking we'd be right in the thick of an awesome atmosphere, expecting a great vibe during the day leading up to the events in the evening....big mistake! I certainly won't be wasting my money staying there again.....unless I suddenly come in to some money and can afford the £16k a night suite!! During the day the place has the atmosphere of a youth centre being hosed down at the end of a school disco! As the day moves on and the crowds start to arrive, music pumping and planes landing we had great expectations of a brilliant time ahead, however felt a lot like you that the crowd became too rammed and unless you are a 20something that wants to face the same direction as everyone else (which I am far from either) then it's a serious let down. Like you it was just lacking something....perhaps it is heart! After saying all that we'll probably go to ONE event at Ushuaia this year but until the line ups are announced holding back on what we'll sacrifice (if we do!).

This year we're heading to Destino for the first time, and hoping that will be enough to satisfy the 'outdoor' appetite

Went to a Sasha party at Ushuaia a few years back and that was really good fun, haven't been back since though, so hoping to go this year..

Loved Destino, felt like a better Ushuaia, plus the bonus of the Tox club after the main party is over!

Monday - David Guetta Pool Position
Tuesday - Hardwell's Carnival
Wednesday - Axwell /\ Ingrosso
Thursday - Armin Van Buuren Is In A State Of Trance
Friday - ?
Saturday - Ants
Sunday - Avicii

The mrs. wanted to see Avicii, but he starts very late- Jul 12th.

Looking forward to Ants line up announcements.

Any idea what, if anything, will take place Sundays before Avicii's opening?

Exactly what I'm gutted about ^
Booked to go 2nd September thinking we would catch the closing

Well I'm not a big Ingrosso and Axwell fan but if there was one cheese event I wanted to go to, it was that one, because most likely they'd have Alesso with them too. Last time I saw Ingrosso was when him and Steve Angello were tag teaming it and still playing respectable underground shiz in a very fun, exciting manner. Must have been year of Grindhouse, and I think they played that track too.

I'll have to settle for second place, the opening of Hardwell's Carnival party instead. Hopefully some good secondary acts on that lineup.

Did the Prodigy at Ushuaia last Year which was amazing, don't think I'll ever bother with Armin in there, just be the brilliant Ants again for me this Year.

Yeah think we are settling for Hardwell closing if the lineups decent. Hoping they also come out with some one offs like Nervo last year and stuff
