Ushaia Tower Dresscode for Sasha?

Music being really good doesn't make a great party! This venue is as far removed from the original ethos of clubbing as one could possibly be. I have defended Pacha for years against people saying it is too pretentious and snooty to be a place for a good party night. Ushuia towers takes the whole concept of snobby clubbing to a new level. Epic fail, sadly people will fall over themselves to be 'seen' at the venue 'cos it's the place to be :(

The irony of this is that one of their selling points is "free party like ibiza use to be"

Im going to see Avicii this Sunday and me and my mates plan on going to the tower afterwards as its included. Ive heard that the dress code doesnt apply for this which is a bonus! Its Ibiza, if i wanted to be surrounded by pretentious dickheads who wear more fake tan than what you get at a gypsy wedding id of given it a miss!

err but avicii and sasha are on at the same time? both events stop at midnight

ok, wanted to return to sasha this week (they moved the party up to the actual top of the tower) with similar outfit like last week - kneelong jeans shorts, tshirt and converse - and couldn't get in as I was told ONLY LONG TROUSERS! wtf?
what I hear is that the tower parties have huge problems with visitors these days so this is the completely wrong way of dealing with that and a disgrace for ibiza!

:? Yes that sucks...will have along trousers in car's toot in case..With kneelong jeans shorts, shirt (above tank top) & flip, flop, i succeed to enter but sneak with some people (good looking with long trousers( i hate long trousers )..(always the same stuff when there is dress code, dress up or vip thing" ,always SNEAK with sexy girlz (a starter to get on well with:spank:) in order to be sure to get in 8) )..Ushuaia tower hold the best parties so you should give another try...

Here on the island right now.. We went to Avicii and to Sasha. Just to be clear, Ushuaia club goes until 12, Ushuaia tower goes until 2am. Anyway, happen to meet Sasha as we decided to take the stairs down instead of the elevator. Very cool, very nice guy.

Anyway, in regards to the dress code, I saw people up there in tshirts and shorts. But no tank tops or flip flops. Personally, I didn't find any snootiness or exclusivity, but hey, I guess if others get turned back then they are bound to take their anger out on someone.

It's actually a great party up there, view is awesome, and I'm glad they don't cram you in there like sardines. So obviously they'll have to turn people back. Half our group was in shorts, and we were all guys, had zero attitude or problems.

An epic fail is clubs filling to double capacity and tolerating idiot steroid junkies that get overly drunk and spend the night pushing others around.

So people shouldn't worry about the dress code so much..wasn't an issue from what I saw, regardless of what some experienced. And it goes until 2 or 3 am..

geez Sasha and Ushuaia throw a free party in a nice rooftop lounge/bar and they have the gall to request you wear long pants???!!! the nerve of them!

Long trousers. One would look silly wearing long pants. ;)

Here in the NW England the use of the word "Pants" for trousers is quite common. Not a term I use but if you hear a couple of NW lads discussing what pants to wear, only worry if you hear the word "paisley"

I think the guy commenting on the snootiness above got in, to be fair, and also lives on the island now ! Not being funny but perhaps it's all relative... it's probably quite down-to-earth compared to most Miami or NY clubs. One of the reasons a lot of Europeans don't bother going over there for nightlife ;).

Do you have to go tru another door picker to go up on the roof when the party moves up there?

For it being a day party I do think it's a bit ridiculous they request long trousers
