linen ... don't do it !! the most hopelessly impractical fabric known to man or woman ... it's easy enough to look well turned out without resorting to this. I know of nothing else guaranteed to make you look like a dishcloth as much as a linen jacket or shirt. As for linen trousers ...... just try not to ever sit down in them Ushiaia Tower guests might just make from their room to the party before it all goes to pot but few others stand a chance
I'll hold my hand up to this. I bought some linen trousers to wear at a wedding (barbie's to be precise) in Ibiza a few years ago.. never worn them since though.
For those of you who are still scared of linen;M&S used to do (not sure if they still do) a 'starter' trouser, 55/45% linen/cotton blend.
I'm a proud owner, although I'm starting to think they might be shrinking with every wash?
not worth going then! better do a boycott on this! Ibiza has never been about how posh you look... if people want this.. go to St Tropez then.... they will welcome you in your posh clothes!
The defected party looks like it had a right polyglot of people. I think all that boloney about dress codes is just an excuse to deselect people they don't want. Otherwise, how did the green vest and baseball cap guy get past the doorman ?
Actually - looking round that lot there's not an elegant ... or good-looking ... person to be seen anywhere ! (imho)
