I dozed off last night watching the last set of Coria v. Ginepri. Very tense ending but 'well done' to Ginepri for rising above himself.

Mary Pierce also looked surprisingly strong in demolishing Mauresmo. I missed Demenieva v. Davenport but what I've read makes it look like that was a pretty poor match.

The ABSOLUTE MOST AMAZING TENNIS I have seen in a long time was when I woke up this morning to find James Blake ahead of Andre Agassi 2-1. The last two sets were so exciting... watching Andre battle his way back and James try to hold on to his advantage, neither of them slowing their game down a single bit. Blake had a chance to close out the fifth set and match but Agassi broke his serve, taking it to a fantastic tiebreak which Agassi won 8-6.

Afterwards, Blake stayed on court (unlike Coria, who ran to the locker room) and he gave an interview praising the match and Agassi, and Agassi did the same for Blake... what great sportsmen!!! That's what sports is supposed to be about. Watching that was a great way to start the day. :D

You look very happy Morbyd!!!!! :D :D :D

To be honest, I kind of wanted Blake to win.... but I really like Agassi so I'm still happy with the result. And the tennis was outstanding.

I know you liked better Blake but this is the problem when you like two players. Is something like when Malloca plays with R Madrid, I go with R.Mallorca but Madrid it's my club.

Mikkak - I think it's only the 2nd time the Bryan brothers have won a grand slam! It's surprising, since they do seem to win so often.

I'm sad that Clijsters beat the beautiful miss Maria Sharapova. If none of the Americans could win, I wanted it to be a Russian :?

Agassi and Ginepri are in their 5th set already 8O

I just seen them a couple of times and won, so this is where my info comes from.

Heyy Agassi just won!!!!!!

Now Federer and Hewit, I suppose you want federer to win, or would you prefer to see Agassi beat Hewitt?? :D :D

what a final tonight...(starts in one hour) agassi against federer...now that's gonna be massive!

of course i'd want federer to win (well, i always support athletes from my country ;) ), but if agassi wins, then i don't mind. agassi is on the tour for years and is still such a great player!!!

It is a massive final. Very much looking forward to it.

Federer is already one of the game's greats, and he's just 24.

Agassi is amazing, especially in the way he can still play in a game that has become so much more focussed on power since people like Jimmy Connors kept playing into their late 30s.

I'm rooting for Andre, but certainly wouldn't begrudge Roger another title.

I am with agassi tonigth, I am quite sentimental, as there is no spanish I decide for Agassi, don't know why, probably because he is older and maybe he retires, not saying now, plus I think Stefy is nice too, and he has very nice kids. etc. ol:  I haven't got anything against federer. I think he is very good and I think he is nice as a person, I think he is a fair player. So i wont be really upset if agassi looses. Lets see what happens. :D :D :l

It looks like Agassi is going to take the second set, which will make it 1-1. What a great match, so far :D

Come on Morbyd ... Kim Clijsters deserved to win!
Kim is a great player and apprently a nice person as well.. best thing she ever did was get away from that Hewitt guy :D It is about time she won a grand slam, considering how many other titles she has.

As soon as I said that, of course, Federer plays his best set ever :?

Roger is now serving for the match. It's been a great run for Andre, but Federer is quite possibly just the best ever.
