Anyone who knows me on here knows I hated Universe last year. I was at the opening party and it was absolutely rammed, hardly anyone dancing, the sound was terrible, and everyone was on their phones. I swore I’d never go back.
But while we’re out there this year, a few of my favourite DJs are playing at Universe:
Green Velvet
Luciano
Carl Cox & The Martinez Brothers
All on different nights.
Honestly… is it worth giving it a second chance or just go to Amnesia for Adam Beyer and some banging Techno .....
PS can only get 1 night out

while I'm generally also firmly in the amnesia camp, why not wait a little and see how this season unfolds before you decide? I think unvrs opening was extra bad when it came to phones and most probably the sound quality also improved a little during the season so that's two things that might have gotten better during their first summer.

but yeah, if in doubt, amnesia will sort you out.
