Underwater Pacha

Hello, I´m thinking going to Underwater party on Tuesday 27th july, what do you think about that party?

cox is on tuesdays.

i went to underwater twice last year, both times i was dissapointed. both times was club was less than half full. not the "usual" pacha crowd (whatever that is), just didn't really like it.

on the other hand coxy's night was out of this world.
 
Underwater is going downhill :(

These parties used to be one of my favourites in the island. Last year was disappointment and this year´s opening party was weak.

If there is a good guest dj it is still worth going.

I agree completely.
Been to 2 Underwater parties last year and none actually was that good to say the least.
They were better off when they joined forces with Erick and Subliminal back in 2002.
Nowdays u won't see me recommending Underwater @ Pacha on a tuesday night. IMO there are better options for that night like Cox @ Space or Armada @ Amnesia.
 
I didn't go this year in June but loved it last year, imo I think Underwater came into its own when it went its separate ways from Subliminal and I would choose Underwater over Subliminal any day of the week now.

Will def be going to Closing in September.

I wouldn't.

Babs u'll be tripping if u tell me that Underwater last year was a better party in it's closing party than Subliminal closing party (we both were in attendance in those 2 parties).

Remind me who played Underwater Closing, I know I was there the week before when Jon Carter was there, I don't remember if I did the Closing :?

I thought Subliminal Closing was good but me personally I had better times at Underwater last year.

I think as far as I'm concerned I always compare Erick to the Erick of old, his Strictly Rhythm days, his old Subliminal days and imo he isn't patch on his glory days, that's why I'm probably more negative about Subliminal.

Hence why Wednesdays are all about La Troya for me now ;)

It doesn't ring any bells :? I'll have to read my last years review to remember what I did that night cos the old braincells are dissappearing at an alarming rate :lol:

Yes the lineup was quality, however Pacha wasn't full on that night and the croud wasn't that up for it.

In all seriousness, carl cox is a great night. He comes on early and plays a funky, percussive set on the terrace, then comos on to finish the night inside with some banging tech-house and techno. Great value.

I went to Underwater at Pacha 2 weeks ago and was seriously dissapointed, after paying a fortune to get in, which I wouldn't have cared about if there was more than 200 people inside I was also gutted how bad the music was. Not the best night I had in Ibiza but we made up for it at In Bed With Space in the morning!

Was that when Sneak and Lottie were there?? My friends just got back last week and said that Underwater was their bestest night with Sneak and Lottie :?
