Uefa Cup

and they have a very experienced manager too!

yeah crap one at that!!

Spurs v Sevilla games will be great, could be about 4-4 in both games with recent form. But i do think Sevilla are favourites.

Just make sure you tire them out for the league!

psh!

i think spurs will suprise a few against Sevilla.

would have preferred a german side, but we need to get Ledders back fit cos we;ve run out of available centre halves!

:?

I think Seville will wipe the floor with Spurs sorry but Seville were my tip to win this .

I do think Berbetov is your chance though hes a gem of a player and my worry to you is how long will he be at Spurs for ???

is your name DJ Spooney?

thats all i hear from him on 606. "can spurs hold on to Berbertov"?

seeing that none of the "big clubs" went for him, why would he leave?

:spank:

So, Chewie, ready for your big old spanking tonight?
(Spurs should have finished off Chelsea when they had the chance!)

Sadly because they'll offer him a lot more money than we can.

I hope we can hold him for next season, though a lot depends on whether we can finish in the top 6.

I think we got the worst draw possible, but if we can stop leaking goals then we certainly have a great chance.

That, and hoping they dont' kick Berbatov off the park.

, but if we can stop leaking goals

im not exactly sure how we are gonna manage that!

we should have bought a defender in the jan sales.
(instead of stocking up on yet more attacking midfielders!!)

much as i admire the tactical and motivational skills of martin, his (or camoletti's purchases have not been of the highest order (berbatov excepted))

Well we leaked 2 again, and they were the only 2 shots on goal all game. Typical.

I think we've not bought that well. Rocha looked ok last night, but the likes of Ghaly (though he's been around a year) and Chimbonda aren't all that. I think Malbranque's been decent, but again he's not a world-beater. Comelli's bought a few kids, but not much use if Jol's gone in a year.

Just didn't click last night really. Disappointing, but I'd have said there was a case for a red on Carvalho (harsh as it may have been) as he was 'denying a goalscoring opportunity'. But there you go....

I thought Chimbonda and Malbranque played very well last night, and Ghaly scored a great goal in the first match.

There were actually 5 shots on goal by Chelsea (a couple were blocked, one saved I think).

Sheva's strike, and Drogba's chest-down combined with SWP's strike... the stuff of magic.

I don't think it would have mattered if Carvalho were sent off. We only had 2 players (Robben, Kalou) upfield at that point... we would have just pulled one of them back and rode the storm as planned.

thought the game was pants in the 1st half... too much probing going on.

2nd half was better, thought we were on top, until that goal out of nothing, which knocked the wind out of us, and after the 2nd we looked devoid of ideas, especially as chelsea decided to park the team coach in front of the park lane end goal.

hey ho, thats football, we will learn a lot from this defeat, just the UEFA cup left and another push for European football let for us to aim at.

apart from the slow start this season, and that iffy patch in the league when we couldnt score away from home, it all looks good for next year, so long as he doesnt tinker too much with the team.

still need a proper left sided midfielder tho... but doesnt every other team?

who or what is santini??:?
