A bit of a late reply as you've already booked, but I've stayed in both hotels and the Es Pla is way the best one. Two pools, one quite and one with music.
Just be aware if half board it is breakfast and food from lunch to 2pm. Not evening meal which you have to pay for (10e per person per meal but includes drinks)
Youre near the bus station so getting to clubs ain't hard (disco bus) and a taxi is around 20e from pdb side of Island.
I'm looking at staying in pdb this year but looks like it's way more expensive than SA, so may end up in SA anyhow.
