Was out in Ibiza early July and it was great as usual. Just don't think the anthems are kickin yet. I was out there last year at the same time and there were so many great tunes going off Elio Riso, Heard and Fitz, Sun Rising Up, Discopolis, World is Mine just to name a few. Curious if anything is really going off right now and what you guys think could be potential anthems.

Songs that I really loved this year
Ame Rej
Misha Daniels Take me Higher
La Luna Andy Cato
World Hold On Bob Sinclair
and a couple that pop in my head from sets but just have to hear to find such as Long Time Coming pretty sure it went off in Pacha one night either Sanchez or Morillo but cant be sure

Anyway all post welcome

For me, the weird thing was hearing Sun Rising Up several times, including twice at Matinee in the discoteca and the new terrace. And when Oliver played it as the sun was actually rising at La Troya, the new terrace crowd did that kneeling down thing (not me, I'm English and stolid and therefore find that sort of thing a bit, well, silly). I love a bit of queso as much as the next man but was nevertheless surprised to see the reaction this record is still getting.

p.s another example was chab closer to me being played as the last song on the sunset terrace at WLS opening - class!

Yep - heard it on the terrace at 6am and it brought the biggest smile on my face. Definately a track i could never get bored of.

The ones I've seen that are doing it for me right now are

Andy Cato - La Luna
Mory Kante - Namara
Tomy Novy - Take It (Haji mix)
Chocolate Puma - Always & Forever

all very Ibiza, obviously 8)
